My Pack Management class is different than his, but he still needs to know how to manage a pack. I’ve been able to give him insights on managing the kitchen and pack hospital since I do that back home. In turn, he’s helped me with the limited financial information that I need to know for my Pack Management class. Since I wasn’t involved in the financial side of things with Shane and Christian, I had no idea how to incorporate that into my studies. But Lorenzo did, and that’s where he helped me.
Since I’m on the warrior track, he and I take all the same fighting and sparring classes, which is great. He and I are the top two students in this class and because we like challenging each other, we continue to work hard to get better, but we still help each other.
I can feel myself getting stronger. I recognize that I’m becoming a smarter, more intelligent fighter. Alpha Dane is an incredible instructor. Then, when he’d broken down, saying how terrified he was that he might follow in his father’s footsteps and fail at the Academy, I had been there for him.
These are the deep, meaningful, lifetime friendships that you build when you’re at the Academy.
When I arrived, I hadn’t expected to get on the leaderboard, it hadn’t even been on my radar. However, about three months in, Lorenzo showed me that both of us were on track to make the

From then on, I wanted it. I needed it. I worked harder, pushed harder, and Lorenzo was right there with me.
