The Alpha Train (Christina and Sebastian) novel Chapter 404

hapter 204

I smile at my brother and walk over to him. I watch his smile falter and a frown twitches on his face. He tilts his head to the side.

Hi, Shane.

Enya, you’re different.

I am. The Academy does that to you,I say, looking at Christian behind me. Christian was so right to send me. I can’t wait to see the person you return as after your time there,I say pulling him into a hug.

Holy shit, Enya. You’re fucking ripped,he says.

Just wait until I get you onto the sparring field,I say, grinning.

Me first.Christian says behind me.

Oh. I definitely intend to take you on,” I say, grinning at him before turning to Braden. “Hello, Beta.

Alpha Enya, it’s good to have you home.

Thank you. It’s good to be home. Gamma Jaden, congratulations.

Thank you, Alpha. Welcome home.

Thank you.

Shane, or maybe Christian, had prepared a party for me. I spent the evening with the pack, talking about my time away and letting them reacquaint themselves with me.

It was late when I finally made my way upstairs. I went to my room realizing that Christian’s scent lingers in here. I take a moment to enjoy his scent, wondering how many nights he came to my room because he couldn’t sleep.

I shower, then in a show of nostalgia, I put on a bathrobe and walk to his room. He may already be asleep and if he is, that’s okay.

I knock softly, and almost instantly, the door opens.

This eves track down the length of my bathrobe.

You waited up for me.I say

You said you would come to me tonight. You’ve always been worth waiting for, Enya,he says, making my heart flutter

When I walk into his room, I nearly moan out loud at his scent. Goddess, I’ve missed this scent.

I walk in, closing my eyes and remembering his scent and everything that I’ve missed about Christian. When I hear him close the door, I untie my robe and let it fall to the floor.

There’s probably one thing I should tell you before we have our night together, Christian,I say.

I turn and watch him looking over my body. His eyes turn black with desire, and he licks his lips.

Holy fucking hell, Enya. Look at you. You’re a fucking warrior.

His praise would have made me blush before the Academy. Of course, I didn’t have this body back then. I know my body is much leaner, much stronger than it was six months ago. It’s the reason that I can stand in front of Christian like this and not be embarrassed. I know I look fucking incredible.

I am a warrior, Christian. That’s what I went to the Academy to become and it’s what the Academy made me. I can’t wait to spar with you tomorrow. I can’t wait to show you who I am now,I say, feeling confident in a way that I never have before. But before that, I need to tell you something.
