The Breaking Point of Love novel Chapter 532

When Caleb saw Wynn, he didn't look the least bit surprised. He just smiled politely and nodded.

"Ms. Locket."

"It's been a while. I didn't expect to run into you here," Wynn said with a pleasant smile.

Her eyes drifted briefly to what he was carrying before she added, graceful and composed as ever, "Are you here with Mr. Robinson and Mr. York? I'm here with some friends too. Since we're all acquaintances, why don't we join up? It'll be livelier with more people."

Caleb replied, "Jorge and the others aren't here. I came with some other friends." Then, ever so polite, he added, "My friends are waiting for me, so I'll head off first. Let's catch up another time."

His tone was courteous and respectful—the kind of politeness that drew a line.

Wynn knew that. Her smile stayed perfectly in place. "Alright, then. Have fun."

"You too." With that, Caleb gave her a polite nod and turned to leave.

"Hey, Wynn, wasn't that Mr. Jennings? He's camping too? So, does that mean Mr. Robinson and his friends are around? We don't have that many people—why don't we ask them to join us?"

Linda and her two girlfriends came trotting over just then.

Sure, they had a few male friends along, but the only decent-looking one was Miles, and even he barely hung out with them.

If someone like Caleb or Jorge joined in, this whole camping trip would instantly get way more interesting.

Wynn said flatly, "They're with their own friends. It's not convenient."

"Oh... Okay."

The three of them looked instantly deflated.

One of Linda's friends stared after Caleb and sighed dreamily. "He's still so handsome. I heard he's been in the military all this time and is still single. I wonder what kind of woman could ever be worthy of him."
