With this opportunity, Amelia would be able to really put Gianna in her place too.
Stealing Nygard Group’s people and then watching those talents they had looked down on actually win? Amelia was sure it was going to feel amazing.
Rocky’s dead–tired eyes suddenly lit up at Amelia’s words, like a pond breaking into ripples after a stone hits.
He clenched his fists so hard that his knuckles went pale, and his breathing got all shaky. “Seriously? You actually trust me, and you’ll let me design however I want?”
His voice shook with excitement, eyes wide with both disbelief and hope.
“Of course. That’s the whole reason I brought you in. And honestly, I can’t stand those Nygard brothers either. Let’s work together, beat them, and win side by side.”
“Alright, then! I’m in!”
Rocky made a silent promise to himself–this was his shot at a comeback, and he wasn’t going to blow it.
“Besides the model contest, you’ll also handle styling for our signed artists and the characters Tony creates for our projects.
“You’ll have tons of chances to show what you can do and push yourself further.
“And if you need anything, just say so.”
Amelia wanted to run things differently–she’d be the kind of boss who listened, not some control freak.
“Honestly, just having this chance already means the world to us, but … ” Tony hesitated a little.
“Our contracts are still with Nygard Group. We’d have to get those canceled before moving
over.”
“Don’t worry about that. If you’re fine with it, I’ll let Josie handle the whole termination process.”
For Amelia, ending contracts was no big deal.
“And what about penalties?”
“Doesn’t matter–I’ll cover it. You just focus on the work and let your skills shine.

“My rule is simple: If I trust you, I trust you all the way. But you’ve got to stay loyal.”
Amelia believed that if she was going all in on helping them grow, then loyalty and teamwork mattered most.
Everyone had to see each other as partners fighting on the same side.
Without that bond, a company was just a pile of sand, impossible to build anything on.
She didn’t care about having a big team–what mattered was quality.
“We’ll stick by you. At the very least, we believe in keeping our professional integrity.”
“Yeah. You pulled us out of a bad spot–we won’t let you down.”
They showed their loyalty right away, not wanting Amelia to think they had any hidden agenda.
Before, they didn’t really know Amelia. Gianna had painted her as overbearing and impossible to work with.
But after actually talking to her, watching how she carried herself, and how sharp and clear she was, her character showed through.
Gianna, on the other hand, was always whining and pretending to be saintly. Her scheming side showed the second you looked closer.
Now, compared to her, Amelia was the total opposite.
She was decisive, smart, professional, and detail–oriented. Every word she gave was sharp and convincing.
The talk flowed smoothly, and everyone was vibing well, except Selena, who had sat quietly the whole time, her face shadowed with sadness.
She tried to mask it, but it was obvious.
Amelia noticed but chose to settle things with the others first before turning to her.
“Selena, why so quiet? Got something on your mind?” Amelia asked.
“Yes… I want to say so much, but I don’t think there’s a way out. My situation… it’s just too complicated.”
Selena sounded defeated, her big eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
Tall and graceful, she had a natural elegance in how she moved.
