Chapter 12 The Reality Show Officially Started

Amelia stopped for a moment. “You know about this too?”

“Of course. I invested in it as well. I’m one of the big investors,” Jeremy answered.

“Okay. If something happens, just call me,” Jeremy said.

He had heard the show was really popular. Top stars and trending celebrities already on board.

So why was Amelia joining, too?

Could the Nygards have set her up again?

He figured he should secretly watch out for her.

“Okay!” Amelia’s heart felt warm when she heard him say that.

Three days later, the “Heiress Bootcamp” aired its first episode.

It was a live outdoor reality show.

The producers promised no scripts, no fake drama, only real reactions.

They chose a small rural town for filming. The five guests had to live together in a simple farmhouse for one week and complete different challenges.

Dragging her suitcase, Amelia was the last to show up at the meeting spot.

The others were already waiting there for a while.

“Amelia, you’re finally here! We’ve been waiting forever! Gianna called out sweetly, waving her hands in an exaggerated way. She was wearing a bright red strap dress with super tall heels, looking completely out of place in the group.

Amelia sneered inside.

That jerk Marcelo told her to come at 10:00, yet it was only 9:30 and everyone was already there.

He wanted her to look late on purpose, so people would think this “nobody actress” was acting like a diva.

Such a dirty trick!

The cameras were already aimed at her.

Amelia took a deep breath and told herself to stay calm.

If trouble was coming, she would face it straight on.

She was determined to make the Nygards regret the choice they made today.

She wore a simple white T–shirt and jeans, her long hair pulled back into a neat ponytail. She had no makeup on, but she still looked so striking that people couldn’t look away.

The other four guests were different. Besides Gianna, there were popular actress Kristina Adler, wealthy heiress Patricia Luwin, and singer Bella Yarrow.

All of them were dressed up with perfect makeup and fancy clothes, as if they were going to an award event instead of a simple rural reality show.

Gianna put on a worried look. “Maybe Amelia was just delayed on the way.”

Amelia didn’t explain anything. She knew the more she talked, the more mistakes she made.

The livestream had already begun as soon as they got there.

The comments were flooding in.

Amelia crouched down and quietly unzipped her bag. Inside were only a few simple outfits and some toiletries.

The other girls‘ suitcases were stuffed full of makeup, snacks, and even mini beauty gadgets.
