“Sorry, Aunt Thea, but skin problems aren’t my thing. Just let Gianna take Diana to a doctor. If she’s the one who caused it, she should deal with it.”
Diana could just storm over and rip Gianna apart herself. Amelia would happily grab Patience and Josie to sit back and watch.
Help fix it? Yeah, no. I’m not that kind.
Thea completely understood what Amelia was thinking and respected her choice.
She knew exactly why Amelia refused. Marcelo and the others had always doted on Gianna, and Amelia still held those grudges. That wasn’t going away.
So, she respected Amelia’s stance.
Still, Diana was throwing such a fit, and Thea was curious about that skincare set. She truly wanted to know if it was the cause.
So, she snapped a couple of photos of the products and sent them over to Amelia with a note.
“Amelia, this is what Diana used. I’ve never seen it sold anywhere. Do you recognize it?”
Amelia was about to dive back into work. But when her aunt messaged again, she softened and opened it.
It looked just like a regular set of skincare stuff, nothing different from the usual brands. She hadn’t thought much about it at all.
She gave it a quick look, ready to just toss it aside.
But the second her eyes landed on the box, the unique logo caught her attention.
Amelia’s eyes widened, her lashes shaking a little. For once, she actually showed a real reaction.
That was the mark of The Alchemist Guild!
Why on earth did Gianna have their skincare?
How was she tied to The Alchemist Guild?
Amelia thought maybe Gianna didn’t even know what the logo meant and assumed it was just some random brand.
Otherwise, why would Gianna give it away so easily?

Her mind spun with guesses. Either Gianna didn’t know a thing, or she was purposely trying to
set Diana up.
But Gianna liked Vincent and always tried to please Diana. Why would she want to hurt her?
So, the first idea seemed way more believable.
Still full of doubts, Amelia quickly called Thea.
“Aunt Thea, I just remembered I’ve done a lot of skin treatment work. I’ll come over and check it out.”
Yeah, she suddenly felt like she was being kind.
When Amelia got to Nygard Estate, Diana was still making a huge fuss.
She could already hear Diana yelling from outside.
As soon as she walked in, she saw Emery looking like she was about to explode.
“Thea, even if Amelia comes, it’s pointless. I want Gianna to pay for this!”
Diana’s anger just kept climbing, and she completely forgot about keeping her classy image. She spun around and snapped at Emery again.
“I know you’ve always favored Gianna and ignored your real daughter. Don’t think you can use her as a shield! I won’t let your adopted one off the hook!”
“I never thought that! I didn’t even call her here!” Emery felt so wronged.
She always treated her daughters equally, but relationships went both ways.
Gianna was always sweet and thoughtful, while Amelia kept her distance and was cold.
So yeah, maybe she leaned toward Gianna a bit. Wasn’t that normal?
No parent could treat their kids the same. If they said they did, they were probably just pretending.
Even if Diana made such a scene, Emery had never thought of calling Amelia to block for her!
That was why she felt so unfairly accused.
“Hmph, forget it. Everyone in the circle knows your bias is legendary.”
By now, Diana was furious and desperate, saying whatever came to mind.
