Chapter 216 Still Not Happy
“Ms. Gianna, are you okay? How did you suddenly fall like that?”
“Yeah, what exactly happened? Can you tell us what really went down?”

The reporters nearby swarmed in, not because they cared whether Amelia was hurt, but because they wanted to know why she’d fallen.
That was all that mattered–whether there was some juicy backstory behind it.
That was the real secret to getting clicks and attention!
They raised their cameras out of habit, snapping photos and tossing out questions as they filmed.
A few of them were even annoyed at Marcelo. If he hadn’t stepped in earlier, they might’ve caught an exclusive.
“Ms. Gianna, you can be honest with us–don’t be scared. Your brother’s right here; he’ll make sure you get justice.”
“Yeah, the stairs aren’t even that steep, and you two weren’t moving. How could you just fall? Did Ms. Amelia push you?”
The reporters, desperate for something sensational, started twisting their questions to hint that Gianna had been pushed.
Gianna was honestly thrilled by how sharp these reporters were, how they asked the right questions, and even led her on.
This was exactly what she wanted.
Seeing everyone crowding around, hungry for details, she looked positively delighted to speak.
She groaned a few times for effect, then, with someone’s help, sat up and put on a pitiful face, the kind that screamed victim.
Pointing dramatically at Amelia, she looked heartbroken yet “brave,” as though she had no choice but to tell the truth.
Her voice quivered with outrage as she shouted, “Amelia, why would you do this to me? I’ve told you so many times–if you really hate me and don’t want me living with the Nygards, I’ll move

“I’ve never done anything to hurt you–so why would you push me down the stairs? Why?!”
And right on cue, Gianna burst into tears.
The reporters, quick to catch the scent of drama, immediately pieced together the story.
Ms. Amelia, jealous of her adoptive sister’s place in the Nygards, pushed her down the stairs!
That’s it. We’ve found our headline!
They were buzzing with excitement and chatter inside, already imagining the views and bonuses, though they kept their faces serious.
Turning their lenses toward Amelia, the supposed “attacker,” they fired off questions.
“Ms. Amelia, is that true? Did you really push Ms. Gianna out of jealousy?”
“Have you always hated her and wanted to get rid of her?”
Amelia stayed calm, unbothered. She couldn’t help admiring Gianna’s acting.
If she had put this much passion into her actual career, she wouldn’t have tanked every project she touched.
Nygard Entertainment wouldn’t have wasted millions trying to make her famous.
“This is nonsense. She’s just a drama queen who threw herself down the stairs to frame Amelia -no one else is to blame!”
Patience finally snapped. She wanted to storm over, grab the shameless woman, and slap her across the face.
“Exactly! Amelia didn’t push her–she jumped on her own!” Selena added furiously.
How could anyone be that shameless? Does she even have a conscience?
Oh, right–those Nygard siblings lost that a long time ago. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have exploited me and made me lip–sync for years.
“Wait, are you saying she threw herself down? For real?”
“No way. Who’d actually do that on purpose? That’s insane!”
The reporters hesitated. Without proof, running a story like that would make them look
ridiculous.
