Chapter 265 The Truth Will Surface

As for those gossipers in the Nygard Group, Amelia couldn’t care less. She treated their chatter like air and didn’t waste a second responding.
Her attitude toward her fans, however, was completely different.
Not only did she send them all sorts of gifts, but she also gave away autographs from the company’s top celebrities and even handed out tickets to Selena’s concert.
On top of that, she personally reassured them that returning to the Nygard Group didn’t mean she was becoming a nine–to–five office worker.
Her career would continue as usual. She just planned to focus more on nurturing talented artists and giving them greater opportunities.
“Amelia, you, Gianna, and Miguel went to inspect the base, right? Did you find anything?
“Are there any issues with the medicinal plantations? What about the potions Gianna brought? Were there any problems with them?”
Elian had just returned from a business trip and went straight to Amelia’s office to ask for details.
He didn’t trust Gianna at all and was worried there might be something wrong with whatever she brought back.
Though the medicinal plantations had seemingly revived and were now thriving more vigorously than ever before, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right.
And when it came to such things, he trusted Amelia’s judgment more than anyone else’s.
“Of course, there’s a problem. Otherwise, do you really think that idiot could’ve solved something even you all couldn’t?”
No one was stupid. They simply chose not to dig deeper since Raymond never asked. As outsiders, the rest of them didn’t want to stir up unnecessary trouble either.
“So what’s your plan?” Elian asked, looking at her intently.
The meaning behind his words was clear. Whatever Amelia decided, he would back her without question.
Amelia wanted to say that there was a mole inside the Nygard Group.
But the moment she opened her mouth, no words came out.

She wasn’t sure who the spy was. She had no leads at all as to whether Regina or Wade had planted someone among them.
It felt too early to bring it up.
It wasn’t because she didn’t trust Elian. She didn’t want to alert the enemy before she was
certain.
So instead, she simply said, “Isn’t Gianna someone amazing? She revived the medicinal plantations and seems so familiar with research procedures.
“If that’s the case, let her keep teaching everyone. Have her continue giving public demonstrations of her cultivation techniques and research processes.”
Real skill could stand any test, while fakes always exposed themselves under pressure.
So she decided to let Gianna have all the opportunities and attention she wanted. She wanted her to shine as brightly as possible.
If it was all an act, the truth would surface sooner or later.
At Nygard Estate.
“Gianna, since when did you make such great progress in herbal research?”
Today, Emery brought Gianna and her sons back home to have lunch and spend time with Ursula.
It was a routine to visit the estate a few times a month.
But this time, Amelia happened to be there too, which delighted Ursula even more. With the whole family gathered, she naturally began chatting about company matters and, inevitably, about Gianna.
In recent months, Gianna’s constant scandals had made Ursula too disappointed to even look at her.
But since Gianna had supposedly helped the Nygard Group avert a major crisis, Ursula felt she ought to show at least a little concern.
“Grandma, did you forget? This is actually my field of study. I was just young and foolish before, always dreaming of being a big star.
“But I’ve reflected on that now. I realized that with the skills I’ve learned, I should be giving back to the country and to our family.”

Gianna’s tone was humble and soft, as if she had turned over a new leaf.

In truth, she was seething inside. After several visits to the estate with Emery, I still hadn’t found another chance to poison that old hag. The frustration was eating her alive.
