“Why so serious? We’re all grown-ups here. If we like each other, what’s the big deal about dating? Don’t tell me you don’t feel anything for me. In the band, those misfits, who can compare to me?

Also, my dad is Waylon. If you’re with me, won’t your position in the band be more secure?”

Wayne was really that confident.

Estella dodged his hand that was reaching out again, her expression now tinged with anger.

Perhaps all men with a sense of superiority were like this, never understanding a woman’s rejection.

Seeing her look of resistance, Wayne’s expression changed as well.

He sneered, “Are you playing hard to get? Don’t tell me you’re some virtuous and chaste woman. I heard you’re quite the flirt in private. What, trying to put on a show in front of me?

Estella, don’t push it. Following me will only bring you benefits, not harm. Be good, and I’ll take care of you.”

With that, he suddenly reached out to embrace her and leaned in to kiss her.

I had heard that all women were the same; once you made them submit physically, their hearts would follow.

Sensing his approach, Estella felt an instant wave of nausea.

Without hesitation, she kneed him.

Wayne let out an “Ah!” His expression immediately contorted. He clutched his groin, staring at her in disbelief.

Estella said coldly, “I’m not some innocent flower for anyone to trample on. If Mr. Wayne wants to play, he’s picked the wrong person.”

She turned and left.

Wayne was furious, but the pain kept him from grabbing that detestable woman.

At that moment, Isabelle emerged from the side, smiling at him.

Wayne’s humiliation was witnessed by her, and his face turned the color of a liver.

Isabelle spoke, “Wayne, do you know that Mr. Chase went to Edinland this morning?”

“What do you mean?”

Seeing that he couldn’t grasp the implication, Isabelle kindly explained, “It means that Estella’s support has left.”

I had my assistant investigate all the information about Mr. Chase’s wife, Jasmine Chord and her daughter.

Then, I had someone go to Edinland and stage a car accident.

At this moment, Jasmine and her daughter should be injured and still in the hospital.

Chase, who doted on his wife and daughter, would surely fly over immediately.

Wayne immediately understood, a gleam of certainty flashing in his

eyes.

“Good, that’s great. I don’t believe I can’t get her!”

Without Mr. Chase as a backing, Estella would be at his mercy, wouldn’t she?

In the evening, Waylon organized another gathering.

In the private room, Estella deliberately sat between Trent and another female colleague.

However, Wayne suddenly came over and asked the female colleague to switch seats with him.

Estella tried to make an excuse to go to the restroom and leave, but Wayne suddenly grabbed her hand, pulling her down and sitting very close to her.

She couldn’t break free, glaring fiercely at Wayne and warning him in a low voice, “Wayne, don’t go too far.”

Wayne glanced at her, “If I go too far, are you going to kick me again?”

He was so close to her that he almost enclosed her entire person in his arms.

Trent knew that Estella disliked Wayne and wanted to help her out of the predicament, but Waylon called him away.

Most others didn’t dare to offend Wayne, and besides, they thought the two were planning to date and didn’t take Estella’s dissatisfaction seriously.

Estella elbowed Wayne’s chest hard, but he wouldn’t let go.

“So hot, I like it.”

He grinned even more mischievously.

At that moment, Isabelle brought over a glass of wine and placed it in front of Estella.

Then, she gave Wayne a meaningful look.

Wayne got the hint and picked up the wine, saying to Estella, “Drink this, and I’ll let you go.”

Estella wasn’t foolish; she could see that this was a setup by Isabelle and Wayne.

She didn’t want to drink, but Wayne wouldn’t let her off the hook.

Wayne brought the wine glass close to her lips.
