Everyone was stunned. Even the technician running the test was caught off guard.

Tyler, Brandon, and the others from Theresa’s dorm gaped at the brilliant display shooting skyward, their jaws hanging open.

What the hell is going on?

“What’s wrong with the machine?”

The first to react was B179, who had brought Theresa here.

“Yes.”

“I see. Works pretty well, then.” She sounded nonchalant, almost lazy.

The others could only stare at her, dumbstruck.

Meanwhile, Theresa had discovered yet another treasure–she decided she had to find a way to take that machine with her someday.

After B179 ran off, he never returned.

The group was left standing in place for a while before a C–Rank personnel came over to lead them back to their quarters.
