Time-Limited Love: A Contract Expired, Not Renewed novel Chapter 210

The only thought racing through Landon’s mind was—

“I want to kill Leanna Ford.”

Chandler blinked in confusion. “Excuse me, what?”

“She trying to muscle in on your inheritance or something?”

Landon just stared at him, at a loss for words. How was he supposed to explain this?

If Leanna hadn’t come around with her little lecture about “cute boys,” he never would have so thoroughly misunderstood the business about Zinnia keeping a puppy outside. Now, every time he remembered the way he’d thrown sarcastic barbs at Dapper right in front of Zinnia, he could feel her look boring into him, making his skin crawl with discomfort.

And tonight—yet another argument with Zinnia, once again over Dapper. Just the memory made his chest ache with a burning anger he couldn’t name.

All of it, every bit, was that snake Leanna’s fault.

While Landon was still simmering between irritation and regret, Chandler let out a sly, wicked little chuckle. “Feels good, doesn’t it? Putting that little green hat on your own head?”

Landon’s expression darkened to near-black, his eyes turning icy as he shot Chandler a look.

“Oh, you’re loving this, huh? Maybe Zoey’s finally decided not to divorce you?”

Chandler’s face fell. “Touché. So we’re just hurting each other now?”

He clenched his jaw, glaring at Landon, all traces of amusement gone.

Just then, Landon noticed Dr. Warner emerging from the exam room, cradling Dapper in his arms.

Landon straightened up on instinct, striding quickly toward them.

“Is Dapper staying at the hospital tonight, or are you taking him home?” he asked.
