Time-Limited Love: A Contract Expired, Not Renewed novel Chapter 226

Even so, something still felt off…

Charles scratched his head, an uneasy feeling gnawing at him.

Noticing Charles’s silence, Landon lifted his gaze and asked, “Is there a problem?”

“N-no, not at all. I’ll have the PR team take care of it right away.”

Try as he might, Charles couldn’t quite put his finger on what was bothering him. The whole situation just felt strange, but he couldn’t say exactly why.

Besides, that video from earlier had been hard enough to watch—his heart ached for Zinnia’s sake. She doted on Dapper so much; if she saw it, she’d blame herself for not protecting him, and end up devastated and riddled with guilt.

With that in mind, Mr. Ford’s response didn’t seem unreasonable after all.

Zinnia was probably busy at the moment, nowhere near the internet. Charles needed to get that video taken down as soon as possible.

“One more thing. Look into the identity of that couple,” Landon added, his eyes turning icy cold. “Make sure they regret ever getting involved.”

“Yes, Mr. Ford. I’ll handle it right away.”

With those words, Charles quickened his pace, hurrying out of the CEO’s office.

The Jensen family.
