Too Good for You: The Ex-Wife You Lost novel Chapter 129

Noelle changed her clothes and got into her car before turning on her laptop. When she'd entered the Charm Lounge earlier, she had installed some cameras and added something extra into Shannon's drink, knowing that Shannon would certainly drink that night.

After all, it must be incredibly awkward for Shannon to run into her former fan, so there was no way she wouldn't drown her sorrows in alcohol.

As Noelle expected, Shannon started slurring after only drinking for a few minutes. It seemed that she had also lost the ability to think straight. "Even if I murdered people, I'll be fine since I have Felicia and Allan protecting me."

She hugged the man next to her and grinned at him. "Nicola got what was coming for her. She deserved to be stabbed to death! She's the one who betrayed me! She's the one who ratted me out for being responsible for the drugging!

"Noelle too! She definitely deserves to die because I drugged her. The top spot in the intensive training camp should be mine. I should be the league champion. All the resources should belong to me!"

Shannon burped before she continued in a ruthless tone, "There's nothing that I can't do. Whoever tries to stop me is my enemy, and they all deserve to die. It'll be as easy as squashing an ant for me to snuff out their lives. My brother-in-law is Allan Haberkorn, after all!"

She launched into an angry rant, cursing out all the opponents she had faced since she started competing in the regional races. "I was the one who crippled Rory Bates. He deserved it for being better than me!

"Serena Hood was also stupid for daring to place above me. I was the one who left her to fend for herself against those salacious geezers. In fact, I would even say that she thoroughly enjoyed the experience!"

Shannon then began to brag about every terrible thing she had done, sparing no detail.

Noelle's eyes darkened as she watched the camera feed. Someone as despicable as Shannon had to be dealt with. If left alone, she would certainly go on to ruin even more people's lives.

Albert had done Noelle a great service by providing the truth serum to her. It was working its magic, numbing Shannon's senses and making her confess the secrets she had buried in the deepest parts of her heart.

The serum was like water, scentless and tasteless, making it difficult to detect.

Shannon was usually arrogant to a fault in front of the people surrounding her, so no one was surprised by what she was saying. Some assumed that she was running her mouth because she was drunk, so they pulled out their phones and started recording her.

Tracking their IPs, Noelle hacked into their phones and stole the videos from their devices. The more videos she had of Shannon's ranting, especially from different angles, the more convincing the evidence would be.

Noelle smirked. Shannon's tirade clearly showcased her lack of morals. On top of that, the Haberkorns were also getting dragged into the damning situation. Noelle was convinced that her plan would cause a great controversy to erupt among the public, prompting them to dish out heavy criticism in the process.

Shannon assumed that she could walk away scot-free after committing such terrible crimes, but Noelle was going to ensure that things wouldn't go according to plan. She shot one final glance at the lounge before driving away, disappearing into the night.

Shannon was sprawled out on her bed, sleeping off the copious amount of alcohol she'd had the night before.
