Chapter 111

When this villa was being decorated, she had imagined day and night moving in with Xavier and living a happy life together.

But now, it seemed she would be living in this huge house all by herself.

Aveline gave a self–deprecating laugh, thinking that if she was going to live alone, she might as well buy a smaller house.

She picked up her phone and scrolled through her Social Feed.

She saw a photo Sebastian had posted of himself and Alfred Jenkins, and she immediately perked up, liking it right

away.

Then she zoomed in on the photo to see where Sebastian and Alfred were, wanting to know if Alfred was in Entora. But the background was indoors; they were sitting on a sofa with one of Alfred’s paintings on the wall behind them. so she couldn’t tell what city they were in.

Aveline thought for a moment, then boldly commented: “Mr. Jenkins looks so handsome. Is he in Entora or Kralville right now?”

Then, she scrolled down.

She saw that Leona had posted a photo of herself and Josephine with the caption:

“My future sister–in–law treated me to a feast today.”

Aveline instantly recognized the striking diamond ring on Josephine’s left hand as the one Xavier had given her.

Her face expressionless, she scrolled past it.

She suspected that Leona had set the photo’s visibility to a specific audience, and she was part of it.

Leona was deliberately trying to provoke her.

Helena finished making dinner and came out to call for her. She nodded, stood up, and went to the dining room. After dinner, Aveline went and sat on the living room sofa, eating her fruit while scrolling through her Social Feed. She saw Sebastian had replied to her: “Mr. Jenkins is so handsome, but what about the one next to him?”

“Mr. Jenkins is in Kralville. Fiona told me you like him and want to meet him. He’ll be in Entora in a while, I’ll intro- duce you then.”

Aveline was excited and quickly replied, “Thank you, Mr. Harmon.”

After finishing her fruit, Aveline put on her jacket and went into the yard to walk off her meal.

Aveline pointed at Xavier’s belongings and said, “Move all of his clothes and personal items out of here.”

Helena was confused. “Ma’am, where should I move them to?”

“Any other bedroom is fine. The point is, his things can’t be in the master bedroom anymore.”

Helena gave Aveline a puzzled look, thinking she was being noticeably colder toward her husband.

Then Helena’s mind suddenly jumped to Josephine, who lived across from Xavier at Winslow Heights.

She didn’t dare to dwell on it and said, “Alright, Ma’am. I’ll start packing and move them to another room right away.”

After giving her instructions, Aveline turned and left the walk–in closet to take a shower.

Xavier didn’t have many things, so by the time Aveline got out of the shower, Helena had already packed and moved

them.

She did her skincare and dried her hair. Before getting into bed, a thought occurred to her, and she went to the door and locked it.

Since there was still some time, she took out her phone to see if Sebastian had replied.

Sebastian hadn’t replied to her directly, but Xavier had actually commented under her comment,

“Seriously? Sebastian’s not that young anymore.”

Sebastian replied, “As a highly regarded young architect, Aveline has excellent judgment.”
