Chapter 120
Fiona scoffed, “I don’t think Mr. Beltran has anything to do with the words ‘mature‘ or ‘sense of security‘.”
Josephine looked up at Xavier, her affectionate gaze unconcealable even in the dim yellow light,
“That’s not true. I think my darling is both mature and reliable.”
Fiona turned her head and rolled her eyes.
Aveline remained indifferent the whole time, her expression calm, as if she couldn’t hear what they were saying at all.
Just then, Xavier looked at her and asked, “Your hand is better.”
Aveline picked up the red wine Sebastian had poured for her, took a sip, and ignored Xavier’s question.
Fiona quickly took Aveline’s hand, “What happened to your hand?”
Aveline said lightly, “It’s nothing, just a scrape. It’s almost healed.”
Fiona opened Aveline’s left palm, and naturally, everyone around could see clearly that the wound had scabbed over. It was obviously not a big deal anymore.
Xavier saw it too and coolly looked away.
Seeing Aveline take another sip of the red wine as if she really liked it, Sebastian smiled at her, “Aveline, is the wine okay?”
Fiona added, “My brother brought this from Kralville. It’s from Mr. Jenkins.”
At that, Aveline’s eyes brightened. She looked up at Sebastian, and he nodded with a smile.
“It’s a red wine from Mr. Jenkins’s private collection. I told him he has a fan here in Entora, and that I had to bring it for that fan to try. He was delighted and said he’ll definitely meet you when he comes to Entora.”
Aveline was touched. “Thank you, Mr. Harmon.”
Sebastian smiled. “Don’t be so formal with me.”
Then he asked Xavier, “Would you like a glass too, Mr. Beltran?”
“Oh, darling,” Josephine jumped in before Xavier could answer. “Isn’t this the red wine from your winery in France? This is the brand, right?”
“Yes, it is,” Xavier said coolly.
Aveline lowered her gaze, her face unreadable, and took another sip of wine.

Heh, she didn’t even know Xavier owned a winery in France. So much for being his legal wife. She was just a decora- tion.
“Oh, so this wine brand is one of your businesses, Mr. Beltran?” Sebastian asked.
“I just bought the winery last year,” Xavier said calmly. “This bottle from Mr. Jenkins’s collection must be several years old.”
Sebastian replied, “Yes, it’s ten years old.”
“This winery makes good wine, that’s why I bought it.
You guys take your time. We have friends waiting in our private dining room.”
After saying that, Xavier and Josephine turned and left.
Fiona leaned closer to Aveline. “Did you know Xavier bought a French winery last year?”
“I didn’t,” Aveline said calmly.
The truth was, unless Xavier told her, she knew very little about him–only the superficial things. She definitely wouldn’t know anything about his business.
Fiona scoffed. “Heh, so Josephine the mistress knows Xavier better than you, the official wife.”
Aveline gave a faint smile and said nothing, just sipping her wine.
She was only the official wife for one more day. She had already decided to file for divorce tomorrow.
Sebastian gave Aveline a long look, then refilled Fiona’s glass. “You’ve got good wine to drink, stop talking so much.”
Fiona frowned at the wine in her glass, then an idea struck her and she grinned. “If this wine came from a winery owned by Xavier, I wouldn’t drink it. But since it was made before he bought it, it’s okay.”
