Xavier sat in the dining room, eating breakfast while listening to the recording.

Helena asked from nearby, “Sir, do you want to see the security footage?”

Xavier looked up at her. “There are security cameras in the house?”

Helena was surprised he didn’t know. “Yes, during the renovations, your wife said it would be good to have cameras for when you have kids, so they were installed all over the villa, inside and out.”

Xavier asked, “Before I got back, did Devin lay a hand on my wife?”
