Urging Him to Get a Divorce novel Chapter 304

Mr. Beltran, it’s the Heiress. Ms. Josephine, and Ms. Eileen.

Xavier slowly turned his head to look.

Josephine, Leona, and Eileen walked in. Josephine looked pleasantly surprised, and Leona said,

Oh, what a coincidence, running into you here.

But. Xavier, what are you doing eating in a small diner like this?

Josephine walked up to Xavier, smiling brightly at him. Xav, what a coincidence.

We wanted to get a latenight supper, and Eily said this little place was pretty good, so we came

over.

Xavier looked at her, and as he listened, Aveline’s cold face and harsh words came to his mind.

So he said flatly, I’m

your brotherinlaw.

Josephine froze, instantly looking a little awkward.

Oh, Xavbrotherinlaw. I’m sorry, it’s just a force of habit, I can’t break it.

As she spoke, she looked at Leona with an aggrieved expression, hoping Leona would help her

out.

Leona glanced at the alcohol on the table, then shot a look at Xavier. Are you drunk?

What brotherinlaw?

Doesn’t it feel weird when Josie calls you that?

Calling you Xav sounds so much better.

Xavier’s dark eyes turned cold as he looked at Leona. I am her brotherinlaw. Why would it feel weird?

Leona sensed something was wrong and studied Xavier. Xavier, what’s going on?

Did Grandpa yell at you again?

Josephine saw Xavier ignoring Leona, sipping his wine and picking at his food with his fork, so she quickly nudged Leona,

Leona, let’s sit down and order something to eat first.

Eileen agreed, Yeah, let’s sit down first.

Owner, bring us a menu.

Amy gave Eileen a strange look.

The owner came over and said, We don’t have menus here.

Eileen froze, feeling awkward.

Josie had told her to lie and say she’d been to this little restaurant before, then bring Leona over to run intoXavier, but she never expected it to be a place without menus.

Josie knew Eileen’s cover was blown and quickly tried to save the situation. Oh, if there’s no menu, how do we order?

The owner replied, They’re all regulars. They basically know what I have.

You’re new customers, so I’ll tell you about a few of my dishes.

Then the owner listed a few dishes.

Eileen immediately picked a few of those dishes, saying she had tried them last time and thought they were good.

She added that she had only been here once before and didn’t remember they had no menus.

The three of them didn’t take another table but sat at the one with Xavier and Amy. Because the restaurant’s tables were small, it felt a bit crowded.

Xavier frowned slightly but didn’t tell them to move to another table.

Leona saw him with his head down, just drinking and eating without a word. Seeing Josie staring at him with a worried expression, she comforted her,

He’s probably just tired from work and had a few too many drinks.
