Leona also frowned and told the owner, “We don’t need it.”

Xavier said nothing, put down his glass, and stood up. He said to Amy, “Pay the bill. Let’s head

back.”

Amy stood up and grabbed Xavier’s coat. “The Heiress, I’ll take Mr. Beltran back now.

Then he waved the owner over to pay the bill.

“Mr. Beltran didn’t say he was going back to Winslow Heights. He wants to go to Parkview Estates.”

Leona looked at Amy, slightly displeased. “What’s the difference between Winslow Heights and Parkview Estates? Ms. Josephine needs to go home, so Mr. Beltran can just go to Winslow Heights with her.”

Leona retorted, “You live in Winslow Heights too. How is it not on your way?”

With that, she slammed the car door shut before Xavier could reply.

Xavier frowned slightly.

Josephine quickly said, “Xav, if you’re not going back to Winslow Heights, I’ll just get a cab myself.”
