Chapter 476
He silently arranged the breakfast items from the cart onto the coffee table. Once everything was set out, he said, “Should I feed you?”
Aveline said coldly, “Move the coffee table over here.”
Xavier smiled. “I knew you wouldn’t let me feed you. If I tried to force you, you’d probably bite my hand.”
Saying that, he pushed the coffee table closer to the sofa to make it easier for Aveline to cat.
Then he sat down on the sofa and, without a word, reached for the ice pack in Aveline’s hand. “I’ll hold this for you. You eat first.”
Aveline was caught off guard as he took the ice pack from her. She couldn’t be bothered to argue with him, so she ignored him, picked up a fork, and started eating.
Xavier glanced from her ankle to her eating, then suddenly said, “You’re so heartless. You won’t even feed me a bite.”
Aveline said flatly, “If you don’t like it, then get out.”
Xavier just smiled and said nothing more, continuing to ice her ankle while watching her eat.
Aveline treated him like he was air, ignoring him completely.
Xavier checked the time. “It’s been twenty minutes. You can’t ice it anymore. If it doesn’t feel better in two or three hours, we’ll ice it again.”
With that, he tossed the ice pack into the ice bucket.
Then he joined her for breakfast.
After breakfast, Xavier had Amy come over to clean up. As soon as Amy left, he looked at Aveline.
“Let me help you take a shower
Aveline glared at him. “Don’t even think about it.”
Xavier smiled. “Then what are you going to do?

Xavier sighed helplessly, “Fine, I won’t help you wash. I’ll carry you in, and you be careful while you wash, okay?”
Aveline gave in, she was covered in sweat and felt really uncomfortable, so she could only let Xavier cany her into the bathroom.
Xavier stood at the door without leaving, and Aveline said flatly, “If you don’t close the door and leave. I’m not washing.”
Xavier felt helpless again and teased, “We’ve been sleeping together for over a year, and now you won’t even let me look. How heartbreaking.”
With that, he closed the bathroom door.
As a luxury hotel, the Beltran Hotel’s facilities were very comprehensive, with handrails in the bathroom to prevent the elderly from falling, so Aveline held on to them and took a comfortable shower.
Then she realized she had forgotten to grab her clothes; there wasn’t even a bathrobe in the bathroom, only a towel that Xavier had obviously just used.
The towel could barely cover her chest and butt.
Aveline sighed and slowly moved to the door, calling out, “Xavier, come here.”
Xavier had been waiting right outside the bathroom door, worried about Aveline. Hearing her shout startled him, and he quickly asked, “What’s wrong?”
As he spoke, he reached for the door.
Aveline didn’t expect him to open the door, so she quickly reached out to block it. “Don’t come in.”
But Xavier thought something was wrong, so he pushed the door open forcefully. Aveline, standing on one foot, was knocked off balance and started to fall backward.
She quickly grabbed the sink to steady herself, putting her left foot down to regain her balance. She didn’t fall, but the pain in her foot made her scream.
Xavier’s face went pale. He threw the door open, rushed in, and scooped her up. “Are you okay?”
“Why were you standing right at the door?
