Aveline, Fiona, and Xavier all had cold expressions as people in the lobby started looking over at them because of Josephine’s shouting.

“Tll go talk to Director Sutton now.”

Fiona asked him, “What’s going on? If she doesn’t want to share a room with Mr. Vance, then just get her another room.”

Josephine retorted irritably, “You don’t look like Jacob either. I could say you’re not his daughter,

too.”

Aveline maintained her scornful smile. “I don’t care. I don’t even acknowledge Jacob as my father

anymore anyway.”

“And I don’t want to acknowledge you as my sister, so you saying I’m not Jacob’s daughter doesn’t affect me at all.”

“You’re the one desperately trying to latch onto me.”

“So, Josephine, show me a paternity test, and maybe I’ll consider it.”
