Chapter 590
Josephine noticed him leaving, snapped out of it, and quickly called out, “Xav, Aveline, she…”
Without looking back or breaking his stride, Xavier said flatly, “I agree with every single word.”
Josephine clenched her fists, every nerve in her body tensed, yet she still trembled with rage, her venomous eyes glaring at the retreating backs of Aveline and Xavier.
The manager looked at her, feeling a headache coming on, but he had to deal with her. He said, “Ms. Sutton, we’ve already contacted several luxury hotels in Kralville. They have rooms available, even presidential suites. Just let us know which one you’d prefer, and we’ll have a private car take you there.”
Josephine stared coldly at the manager.
She didn’t believe for a second that there were no rooms left. Since Sebastian was Fiona’s cousin,
she suspected Fiona had told him not to give her a room.
And the real culprit had to be Aveline.
That’s why she was so furious, deliberately causing a scene in the hotel lobby to show everyone just how cruel and heartless Aveline was, treating her own sister this way.
She hadn’t expected Aveline to slander her by claiming she wasn’t Jacob’s biological daughter.
For now, she had no choice but to let the Crestmark’s private car take her to stay at another hotel.
But she would definitely get her revenge for this.
The elevator was going up. Aveline saw Xavier staring at her out of the corner of her eye and said coolly.
“Why are you staring at me? Feeling sorry for her?”
Xavier sighed helplessly. “What are you overthinking now?”
Aveline smirked. “If you feel sorry for her, you should have let her stay in your room. Then 1 wouldn’t have been able to humiliate her.”
“No, that’s not right. It wasn’t humiliation. I really do think that without a paternity test, who knows if she’s actually Jacob’s daughter. A homewrecker like Courtney couldn’t possibly have

Aveline scoffed. “You don’t have to.”
Just as she finished speaking, the elevator doors opened, and Aveline walked out.
Fiona glanced at Xavier. “Feeling sorry for Aveline now? How hypocritical.”
Xavier frowned slightly. “Fiona…”
Fiona snorted and walked out of the elevator, ignoring him.
Xavier followed behind them. When they reached the hotel room door, he asked, “Are you okay? Should I have the hotel send up some Hangover–Relief Broth?”
Aveline opened the door and went inside, saying coldly, “Who drinks that stuff?”
Fiona laughed. “Exactly. Who drinks that stuff? If you want some, drink it yourself.”
After saying that, she also went in and shut the door.
Xavier looked at the closed door and gave a bitter smile. Then he rubbed his forehead and went back to his suite.
Once inside his room, he picked up his phone and called Amy. “Check if the hotel manager has sent Josephine away. I don’t want her bothering my wife.”
Amy agreed.
A little while later, just as Xavier had taken off his formal wear and was about to get in the shower, Amy called.
“Mr. Beltran, the manager said they’ve sent a private car to take Josephine to a nearby hotel. They’ve already booked a room for her there.”
Xavier was relieved to hear that Josephine was gone. She probably wouldn’t come and bother Aveline again.
In the next room, Fiona also got the news. She went to Aveline’s bedroom and said, “Your dad’s illegitimate daughter finally agreed to go to another hotel.”
Aveline was removing her makeup. Hearing this, she said flatly, “It’s not that she didn’t believe there were no rooms. She deliberately caused a scene to embarrass me in the hotel lobby.”
