Josegiune had mupired in film dresting and was now a graduate student. Clearly to support her Kanner had hunded her the advertising project for Solara Plara

Jasmine then texted Aveline again. I saw the ad. It’s quite good and has its highlights. But gren how it’s trending, it’s obvious it’s being pushed. It became a trending topic out of nowhere, and now marketing accounts are byping it nonstop. The comment section is flooded with bot

Not interested in watching the advertisement Aveline replied. The Beltran Group just built the plaza. It makes sense they’d spend money to promote it and generate buzz

Indeed. That money is nothing to The Beltran Group. Jasmine replied

Before Aseline could text back two more messages from Jasmine came through. But based on Instagram, everyone would think Xavier and Josephine are a couple. How upsetting

You and Xavier never went public with your marriage, right?

Aveline replied calmly, Right

Given her disposition, since Xavier had chosen to keep their marriage private, she saw no reason to reveal it herself. She had always assumed that people would naturally find out once they held a proper wedding.

After a brief pause, she added, It doesn’t matter now. I’m getting a divorce anyway.

Jasmine soon texted her back, I’m totally cheering you on, Babe.

Josephine is nothing compared to you. With all those international design awards, you never once brag about them.

You’re literally the most lowkey person I know.

Aveline gave an unconcerned smile. Getting things done is what matters to me.

You’re right. Let’s do our best to nail the Crestmark Group resort project,Jasmine replied.

Let’s,Aveline texted back.

After placing her phone on the nightstand, Aveline turned off the light and lay down.

Sleep, however, did not come easily. The photo of Josephine and Xavier clinking glasses flashed across her mind.

Xavier had never looked at her with such gentleness and affection.

To her, he had always been cold and indifferent, which was the inevitable result of years of dealing with shady, calculating people in the business world.

But now she realized she was wrong. He did have a soft, devoted side, but only when facing the woman he truly loved.

Though what Gloria had said was harsh, it was true. Josephine managed to keep Xavier around.

Josephine was still a graduate student with no directing experience, yet he had handed her the advertising campaign for Solara Plaza, the largest plaza in the country under the Beltran Group. He had even invested a fortune to promote it, ensuring it was a hit, all just to build her reputation. He had spared no expense.

But then again, she’d made up her mind to get a divorce. Whom Xavier loved was no longer any concern of hers.

She stopped herself from dwelling on it and drifted to sleep.

At 7:30 the next morning, Jasmine and Julian arrived at the studio on time. Then, Aveline drove them to the resort project site of Crestmark Group.

The site was located in the newly developed Mount Ardwood Resort, which boasted beautiful scenery. Aveline had visited it with Xavier and his family before.

The Beltran Group had just built an ultraluxury hotel there a year ago.

The drive took two hours. Upon arrival, they met Vivian and the architects from Crestmark Group.

Vivian bore herself with a dignified demeanor and kindness. After introductions, she led Aveline and the others into the site.

Early March weather was still a touch cool, but the sun shone brightly that day, and it grew warm as they walked.

Vivian noticed how young, beautiful, and seemingly delicate Aveline was, and assumed she’d hold out for no more than two hours. To her surprise, three hours passed, and Aveline remained calm and composed. She spoke to the architects with professionalism, breaking down every detail clearly as she analyzed them.

Even two of Crestmark Group’s highly demanding architects praised Aveline.

This made Vivian hold Aveline in a little more respect.
