Just in case Alexander wasn’t asleep yet, I cracked my door open, then I laid down in bed. I closed my eyes and tried my best to fall asleep, but it was useless. My skin was tingling, and despite the cool temperature of the apartment, my body felt like it was on fire.

When I heard my door creak slowly open, my pulse quickened with excitement. I opened my eyes, and the sight of Alexander standing in the doorway with his robe slightly opened made me dizzy.

“Have you had enough time to think about my proposal?” he murmured, his eyes traveling lazily down my body.

Then, he put his lips back on mine. As we made out, I slid his robe off his shoulders. Greedily, I ran my hands down his chest, marveling at the strength and heat radiating off of him. Truly, I didn’t know how strong he was until this moment.
