You Looked Down on Me Once, Now You Look Up. novel Chapter 286

“Sara, you’ve really gotten bold, haven’t you? Talking about Uncle Oliver like that right to our faces.”

Sara blinked, genuinely confused. “But seriously, am I wrong?”

“If you care about someone, just say it. If you like them, make a move. Sitting there in silence, hoping they’ll magically understand your inner struggle? That’s like walking into a bathroom and asking if someone’s there for number one or number two. No one’s a mind reader, you know?”

“I honestly don’t get you self-important men.” Sara’s words managed to roast every guy in the house at once.

Colton immediately shot up from his seat, indignant. “Hey, that’s crossing the line!”

Sara just threw him a bored look, clearly not interested in a fight.

Roger, always the mediator, tried to lighten the mood. “Alright, alright. Uncle Oliver’s out—let’s take a break too.”

Sara’s hand shot up. “Massage time for me!”

It had been way too long since she’d had a handsome guy pamper her.

Riverdale had no shortage of fun spots, with every kind of luxury hangout you could imagine. Lately, though, Sara had gotten weirdly obsessed with foot massages. No one really knew where she’d dug up this particular place—some random hidden gem she’d found online.

Yeah, it was pricey and definitely upscale, but for them, that barely mattered.

Roger and Colton were both a little stunned by how at home Sara seemed the moment they walked in.

“Wait, men and women aren’t separated here? Is this place for real?” Colton muttered under his breath.

Sara rolled her eyes. “You’re such a bumpkin.”

It all made sense once they got into their private suite.

“Where did you even find this place?” Roger asked.

“Online, duh. Genius move, right?” Sara grinned, clearly fishing for praise.

“Honestly, yeah. Impressive,” Roger nodded, totally straight-faced.
