You Looked Down on Me Once, Now You Look Up. novel Chapter 507

“My wife’s home but she won’t get out of the car. I’m starting to worry.”

Patricia blinked, jolted back to reality. “Sorry, I zoned out reading something.”

She reached for Oliver’s hand.

He steadied her by the arm, slipped an arm around her waist, and helped her out of the car.

“What had you so distracted?”

“Wilma’s documents. I need to send them out tonight. It’s already taken way too long. If I wait any longer, this case is just going to gather dust.”

Oliver kept hold of her hand as they headed inside. He nodded. “Yeah, it’s dragged on.”

“Want to take a look?”

Patricia handed him her phone. Oliver tried to open it like his own foldable, only to realize too late it was hers and not his.

Patricia watched, eyes wide and curious at his fumble.

Oliver laughed quietly. “Sorry, muscle memory. Thought it was mine.”

She grinned, her eyes sparkling. Yeah, I figured.

He watched the video, then handed her phone back.

“Everything’s clear. With that conversation, it’ll definitely cause a stir. When are you posting?”

“Midnight.”

“Do you have the account details?”

“I do. Want me to send them over?”

“Yeah, send them to me.”

Later that night, while Patricia was in the shower, Oliver slipped into his study and called Hector.
