In less than a minute, Narissa would have her cover blown–she had to snatch the classified intel the instructor had hidden somewhere in this classroom.

After that, she’d have to make a clean getaway with the intel in hand–only then would she pass

the test.

Everyone was just waiting for the drama to unfold.

Narissa called out, “Let’s move out!”

A minute wasn’t much time at all–it felt like she could reach the spot in just a couple of strides.

But no one had any idea what Narissa was actually doing in there.

“Let’s see how she keeps being cocky now,” Alina sneered, certain that in a sealed room like this, there was no way Narissa could get out on her own.

So she immediately pushed the door open and walked right in.

She said, “Narissa, you’ve lost!”

But what threw her off was that the classroom was empty. There wasn’t a soul in sight.

Skye scanned the room, and her jaw dropped in shock.

“Wait, where is she? Where did she go?” Skye blurted out.

Everyone had the same question running through their minds.

‘She must be behind the door!‘ Alina suddenly thought to herself.

After all, there was literally nowhere else in the room for anyone to hide.

Everyone quickly stepped aside so Alina could get a clear look behind the door.

But to everyone’s shock, there was no one there either.

“Oh my god, Narissa really has some next–level disappearing skills. That’s insane!” Skye gasped, her awe and admiration for Narissa skyrocketing.

The instructor could tell something was off, but just couldn’t figure out what..

He swept his gaze over everyone in the room, but still came up empty.

‘Did she actually just vanish into thin air?‘ he thought in disbelief.

Just then, someone outside shouted, “Someone pulled the fire alarm. We have to evacuate the training ground right now!”

The instructor didn’t hesitate. “Line up, everyone. Move out with me, now!”

It was the instructor’s duty to keep everyone safe.

So he immediately gathered the students and headed out.

“There’s no time for that. You guys evacuate first, and I’ll go look for Narissa,” the instructor said firmly.

Just as he was about to go look for Narissa, the person who made the announcement suddenly blocked their way.

“All right, no need to leave–because the fire alarm here never actually went off!” the person said.

Then, the person pulled a document out and handed it to the instructor.

The instructor froze for a moment.

“That’s Narissa’s voice. Is that you, Narissa?” the instructor asked, his eyes wide with surprise.

Narissa nodded. “It’s me.”
