Chapter 191

Lewana POV

It took Murdock a few days, but he found a few camp sites surrounding our territory. We had been under surveillance and had not even noticed. Probably placed once I was rescued or after Donovan had escaped. Our soldiers could smell the wolves, but they had enough time to escape once they saw us coming.

We had upgraded security again to block views from these sites or destroy access. We are also adding these sites to our weekly sweeps and conducting daily surveillance with a telescopic lens. I overheard Conrad and Murdock talking about getting a satellite and

drones involved, so we will see what happens.

It’s the night of the full moon, and the moon is already at its highest peak. I’m standing in the Lake with Conrad, Arthur, Liam, and Murdock watching over me from the shoreline. Conrad insisted they watch over me until Malik is dealt with, and he would prefer to defend me than throw up in front of Murdock, as he still can’t hold his breath that long.

I open my eyes in the Moon Goddess Realm, and she floats over to me and embraces me

tightly.

“I trusted you would survive, as always, my blessing, but it was still an anxious wait to see you again. Your pups are growing strong“.

I just smile. I always feel more at home here. I’m not sure if it is her presence or if it’s because I’m a blessing, but I have to remember I have a job to do.

“You know why I’m here, Moon Goddess“,

“I do. And Serena is right. Alpha Commands were originally a gift to help in times of battle. I would talk to those loyal, and my children would give the command to follow, so others would have unwavering strength and determination against the shadows. Alas, it has been abused and corrupted by those who seek power. But an Alpha King or Blessed Wolf can override the order if done correctly. However, Conrad is not as assured in his power as you are. Not yet anyway“.

She places her hand against my head and puts the information directly into my mind, along with some images that she was watching over the pack while I was gone.

I stand up from the water and walk over to all the men on the shoreline.

I give one command. “Bring the prisoners“.

All four rogue prisoners are brought to the clearing on the shoreline. Each Rogue had two soldiers holding them in a collar at the end of a pole on either side. A third was

pointing a gun at them, to kill them if needed. We couldn’t use silver restraints as I need

their wolves fully awake from this. Connor is among the team bringing them out.

I turn to Connor and ask. “They’re all showing green“.

He confirms. “Yes, all Green“.

I go up to the first one and gently lift his chin to look me in the eyes. “What is your

name?“.

Nothing. I knew he wouldn’t answer, but Serena needed to see his eyes. His wolf was still in there, but was as blank as his human. I could also see the blood bond. This was going to be painful.

Conrad had Cordelia’s fancy tent from the ceremony brought over and set up. In his

words, Murdock was already getting obsessed with me without seeing me naked. I step

inside to transform into Serena.

We come out in all of our glory. Shining like the moon itself as we stare at all of these

broken wolves before us.

I hear Murdock mumble to Conrad. “Should we be bowing or something? I feel like we should be bowing“.

Serena goes over a stand in front of the all wolf. I can sense their fear at seeing me, which is good.

We work together to release a Lycan–level Alpha aura and make sure we are close enough that it fully immerses all of them. They start to struggle with the feeling as the order is

likely telling them to fight, as I am not their Alpha.

Serena forces her way into all of their mind–links to issue her command.

“My name is Serena, and I am the Blessed Luna Queen. No power can surpass mine other than the Moon Goddess herself. You are now under my command and will follow only me. I release you from all previous Alpha commands and blood oaths to obey me“.

They start releasing a mixture of screams and howling as they fight the command.

Serena tries to send more energy to her aura while they fight to push it back. She can tell they are in pain, but it will be worse for them if they aren’t free.

She commands them again. “I release from all orders and blood bonds“.

I can feel they are close, but they are still resisting. Still fighting the commands.

Serena closes her eyes and takes deep breaths as if breathing in the power of moonlight. Our fur glows brighter, and when she opens her eyes, they are pure gold.

“I RELEASE YOU“.

We can feel the rush of power flooding them. Like a door bursting open after holding back the wind. All four sets of eyes glow white before they all collapse to the ground.

I pull back all the energy while Connor goes and checks on them all.

He smiles in disbelief. “Their colour is changing. It’s not concrete yet, but it is shifting“.

All four look around, confused. As if they had just woken up from a dream and are unsure if they are asleep or awake.

I mind–link everyone. “I think we are done here. Take them back to the prison, and I will speak to them in the morning when the shock has worn off. Then enjoy the rest of the

full moon“.

They do as asked. As I watch them walk away, I can’t believe how energised I feel. Every cell in my body is vibrating, and my head is spinning from the power rush. And I know exactly how I want to use that power.
