Boss, Your Ex-Wife is Unreachable Now! novel Chapter 57

Tucked away in the heart of the bustling city, this exclusive, top-tier styling studio had cleared its schedule for the day—today, they were serving only one very special guest: Evelyn, their most prestigious VIP.

Evelyn studied her reflection in the mirror, tilting her head this way and that, a satisfied smile curling on her rose-colored lips. She looked pleased with the transformation.

"Come on, let's go meet Rosa!"

Turning away from the mirror, Evelyn slipped her arm affectionately through Major's, her tone bright and intimate.

She planned to drop by Rosamund's place first, then head to the film premiere together. And while she was at it, Evelyn was hoping to pry out some intel—maybe Rosamund knew who'd been cast as the movie's leading man.

When Evelyn announced she'd introduce him to the legendary actress Rosamund Worthington, Major nearly lost his composure from sheer delight. He managed to suppress his excitement, keeping his voice even. "Sure, I've heard you mention Miss Worthington so many times. I'd love to thank her in person for looking after my girlfriend all these years."

"My sweet, thoughtful boyfriend!" Evelyn grinned, stretching up on tiptoe to plant a quick kiss on Major's cheek. "Just wait till you meet her—you'll see I wasn't exaggerating at all. Rosa's absolutely captivating, a true national treasure!"

Soon, the two left the studio and climbed into Evelyn's car. She leaned forward and instructed her driver to head to Worthington Manor.

By the time they neared the estate, nearly a thousand fans had already gathered at the gates—phones and handmade banners waving in the air, flanked by a swarm of photographers and reporters lugging their camera gear.

The crowd was a sea of faces, buzzing with excitement—a testament to Rosamund's extraordinary popularity and influence.

Evelyn's car inched its way through the throng, taking ages to finally reach the manor's entrance. Fortunately, the security staff recognized her car and waved them in without delay.

Onlookers—both fans and reporters—craned their necks to get a glimpse, speculating wildly about who might be inside that sleek, expensive vehicle. Was it a man or a woman? Someone important, for sure.

"Anyone coming straight into the manor must be close to her!" one fan whispered excitedly to a friend, eyes sparkling with gossip.

"I know that car model—it's worth millions. Whoever that is, they must be a big deal," someone else chimed in, a touch of envy in their voice.

"Rosa!" Evelyn released Major's arm and hurried over, lifting her skirt slightly as she walked. "I missed you so much—I just couldn't wait to see you, so I dropped by early. I hope I'm not interrupting anything?"

The manager tactfully stepped aside, giving them some space.

Rosamund shook her head, her smile warm and genuine. "Of course not! If your brother and York hadn't sprung this press conference on me at the last minute, I would've come to see you first thing after landing."

Evelyn beamed, glowing with happiness and a hint of pride. "I knew it—Rosa, you always spoil me!"

Better than even Cordelia Worthington, Rosamund's own younger sister.

Rosamund's gaze shifted to the handsome, refined man standing just behind Evelyn. "Eve, and who is this gentleman?"
