I hesitated for less than three seconds before saying softly, Kirby has the presidential suite. Top floor,

Sandra’s face lit up. She thanked me and happily hurried toward the elevator.

I shut the door. The director behind me frowned. Was that wise? If Kirby finds out, he’ll hold us accountable.

I shrugged indifferently. If she really makes it into Kirby’s room, I’ll twist my own head off.

But not five minutes later, another knock came.

The director and I exchanged a glance. Another one?

Next in line had to be Cynthiathe most voluptuous of them all.

I straightened my clothes and opened the door, only to freeze.

It was Chloe.

Surprising. She was dressed in revealing sleepwear, a bottle of red wine in one hand, two glasses in the other. Her intentions couldn’t be clearer.

I chuckled. Here for me?

Chloe shook her head.

I raised a finger. Kirby’s in the presidential suite. Top floor.

She blinked, then smiled gratefully. Thanks.

With that, she slipped into the elevator.

I closed the door with a scoff.

The director didn’t even look up, eyes fixed on the script revisions. Not a single one of them’s simple. Next up should be Cynthia, right?

By all logic, she ought to appear.

But I waited and waited, and Cynthia never came.

My wolf soul grumbled in my head. Maybe she’s too exhausted. She looked halfdead during the rowing carlier.

I shrugged and went back to my script. Didn’t matter. This show already had more than enough heat. Its success was guaranteed.

Leslie’s POV

Inside the presidential suite, I curled up on the sofa, replying to urgent emails and handling pack affairs. When I finally relaxed, a video call from Astrid came in.

Leslie, you went out to play and didn’t even invite me!Astrid complained, her voice full of mock outrage. If I hadn’t asked Carl, I wouldn’t have known!

I rolled my eyes. And you actually believe Carl? Only half of what he says. I’m here working hard, taking this show seriously.”

I gave her a rundown of Single Forever and how I’d ended up on it. Astrid listened with great interestshe never slacked when it came to gossip.

She peppered me with questions, buzzing with excitement. We were midchat when the sharp sound of the doorbell cut in.

I froze, thinking I’d misheard. But nothe ringing was real, insistent.

Setting my phone aside, I rose and went to the door. Who could it be at this hour?

The moment I opened it, a wave of cloying pheromones washed over me.

Sandra stood there, her tone syrupy. Kirby, I came to discuss tomorrow’s shootHalfway through her sentence, she realized it was me. Her smile froze on her face.

My gaze swept over her. She wore a skimpy black slip dressbare shoulders and chest, the tight fabric outlining every curve. The hem barely reached her thighs, leaving two long legs bare and gleaming.

Asphodel gave a lewd whistle in my head. Well, looks like someone’s in heat and knocked on the wrong door.
