This strong instinct told Rania to go up the podium and approach her mate. She needed to be close to him. This pull was even stronger than the one she felt toward Caden a year ago.

For Rania, there was no one else existed in the main hall, but that man with his electric blue eyes, who stared at her with a confusion, but a smirk graced his lips when he tilted his head, as if the realization just sunk in.

He was smiling at her, and those electric blue eyes were the most beautiful thing that Rania had ever seen.

She couldn’t control herself. She was mesmerized by him, and there was nothing else she wanted to do, but to get close to him.

However, before she could approach him any further, two royal warriors blocked her way, they told her to step back from the king. She was not allowed to be there.

“Go back!” One of the royal warriors raised his voice on Rania. He grabbed her hand and dragged her back toward the door, because she had disrupted the ceremony.

“No… I…” Rania struggled, her gaze darted from the royal warrior to the king, she wanted to say something. She didn’t want to leave, her mate was there. “No, please… I…”

Frantic pain clutched her heart. This was a rare occasion for Rania to feel this strong feeling in the past year, because she had been living in a numb feeling, or else, she wouldn’t be able to go through the night with Caden’s touch, as he buried himself deep inside of her.

“This…” Rania couldn’t finish her sentence, her eyes caught her mate’s, but he didn’t do anything, he only stared at her with an amusement smile, or did he mock her?

Would this be a second rejection for her?

Rania lost her wolf spirit in the first rejection, would it cost her her life this time?

The two royal warriors didn’t want to hear her excuse, as they dragged her as soon as possible. From the corner of Rania’s eyes, she saw her father’s movement, he was heading toward the door.

Even in her frantic state to be close to her mate, Rania knew what was waiting for her. This humiliation wouldn’t go unpunished by

Alaric.

He would make sure she regretted it.

The closer Rania to the door, the more she felt it in the pit of her stomach that she would be discarded again. This would lead to a second rejection, where her mate didn’t want her.

Who would want her? She was a mere omega.

Rania was befuddled, it didn’t occur to her that her second chance mate was the king, The Mad King. Fighting back her tears, Rania stopped struggling. She returned to her indifference self, numb her feeling to protect herself.

But suddenly, someone yanked her arm from the two warriors, who dragged her away. The delicious tingling feeling erupted on her skin and Rania knew almost immediately who had grabbed her away even before her eyes landed on hini.

Her back hit his sturdy chest, as his scent engulfed her. Rania breathed deeply and closed her eyes, savoring this feeling.

The pull between them was strong enough for Rania to feel safe for the first time. She couldn’t care less about other people, but from the comer of her eyes, she saw how her father’s jaw dropped, he couldn’t believe with what he was seeing right now.

Alaric stopped walking toward her. His eyes bulged in their sockets, especially when the king nuzzled Rania’s neck, and licked the sensitive skin in front of hundred of people.

This display of affection was not appropriate for public’s consumption, but then who would dare to complain in front of the Mad King?

“My king this “The two warriors immediately took two steps away from the king and the woman that he hugged. They looked confused, but they were tactful enough not to in this moment.

However, Caden was not that wise. He raised his voice when he saw what the king was doing to his plaything. Anger and jealousy burned
