Delete My Love for You novel Chapter 195

Xena snatched her hand back and hurried into a quiet corner of the hallway, pressing herself into the shadows.

Her phone lit up, and the anonymous warning she’d received two days ago flashed across the screen.

“If you touch Lottie again, you’ll lose everything.”

The words were as cold as steel.

Xena had always known there was someone in the shadows, a mysterious figure who forged documents for her, who helped her maintain the lie that she was Darren’s first love.

Her gut told her—the warning came from that same unseen ally.

She typed quickly, fingers trembling: “I’ll do whatever you say, just help me one more time.”

Late at night, on the private terrace atop the luxury twin-tower apartments, the air was heavy with the scent of blooming flowers.

In the center of the terrace stood two astronomical telescopes, their white bodies gleaming under the city lights.

Charlotte had come at Bradley’s invitation to stargaze. She sat quietly in her wheelchair, watching as he adjusted the telescopes’ height and focus.

He moved with easy confidence, tall and steady, his posture radiating a quiet strength.

A few minutes later, he turned to her. “All set. Come give it a try.”

Charlotte wheeled herself closer, positioning at the eyepiece. As she leaned in, the vastness of the night sky filled her view.

Just then, a shooting star streaked across the darkness, trailing a silver tail.

Another star had fallen.

Bradley’s voice was low. “The universe is endless. If one star disappears, who’s left to remember it?”

Charlotte didn’t agree.

“Every life, from beginning to end, is inscribed in the tapestry of the heavens—by a force we’ll never understand,” she said softly. “Like tonight’s flowers: the moment the wind scatters their scent, it’s already etched onto this night. Death doesn’t erase existence. To exist is to be eternal.”

Bradley stared at her, taken aback. “To exist is to be eternal?”
