Delete My Love for You novel Chapter 196

Without hesitation, he tapped open his social feed, uploaded a photo of the night sky, and captioned it:

“Good night, Mrs. Fairchild. @Lottie”

At that very moment, Darren, still in the hospital, saw the tweet. His anger surged so hot he nearly flipped his hospital bed over.

The next morning, disregarding the doctor’s warnings, Darren forced himself out of the hospital. He went straight to Astra R&D Center, a division of the Harrington Group, with Xena by his side.

Once a nondescript research facility, Astra was now the nerve center for developing the next generation of artificial hearts.

Charlotte was here, serving as the project’s technical director.

After leaving the hospital, he’d taken pains to have a stylist craft his look—custom suit, immaculate hair. He looked striking, every bit as handsome and commanding as he had five years ago, during the heyday of his youth and Charlotte’s infatuation.

He hoped to win her over with his charm, to make her forget the old wounds and remember the love she once had for him.

Every gesture, every glance, seemed to say:
