He strode to the edge of the bed, eyes locking on the old man’s evasive ones.

Mr. Harrington’s pupils shrank. “You… what are you talking about?”

Darren exchanged a glance with the old butler, then offered a cold, almost amused smile as he sat down at the bedside. He drummed his fingers on his knee, feigning nonchalance.

“I already have this guy. Considering everything he’s done to me, I’m thinking about sending him off to international waters. Let fate decide what happens next.”

The old man’s throat tightened.

“Darren, he… No, there’s no such person! You must be mistaken!”

“So you don’t believe I’ve got him?” Darren gave a thin smile, then pulled out his phone. He hit a speed dial, pressing the device to his ear.

“Don’t wait any longer. Take him out to open water. His fate’s not my concern.”
