“Sienna, are you serious?” The three Cooper family members froze for a second, their faces flashing with shock and joy mixed with careful hope. “Can you really cure your grandpa’s legs?”

The spoon in Pansy’s hand slipped into her bowl with a sharp clatter. The sound snapped Rolf back to his senses. His grip or his fork tightened without him realizing, and those stern eyes lit up with hope.

But he quickly smothered it. He forced a serious look and cleared his throat. “Alright, that’s enough. I already said these legs. of mine have been paralyzed for years-I’ve gotten used to it. Sienna just came home. Why bring this up now?”

He turned to her, his tone deliberately light. “Sienna, don’t waste your effort on these useless bones. Just eat.”

He knew exactly how bad his condition was. If Sienna tried to treat him and failed, she would only blame herself.

He had already been paralyzed for years-there was no need to pile that kind of burden onto a young girl.

Gerard and Pansy understood what he meant. They held back their excitement, not wanting to pressure Sienna.

Sienna set down her fork, her clear eyes softening. “Grandpa, it’s no trouble. Besides, caring for you is what I should do. Would you mind if I took a look at your legs?”

Her voice was calm and steady, like she had everything under control.

For some reason, Rolf felt he could trust her. His fingers dug into the armrest of his wheelchair, a faint light flickering in his eyes. His chest rose and fell heavily with excitement, but he forced himself to stay composed and gave a quiet nod.

Sienna knelt down beside him, lifted the blanket over his legs, and pressed several key points. After a moment, she stood up. “It’s not too serious. I can treat it.”

“Really?” Pansy covered her mouth, her voice trembling with excitement.

Gerard’s eyes reddened as he praised Sienna incoherently.

Rolf just stared at his legs, dumbstruck. This was the first time in three years that he had heard anyone say they could be healed.

Amanda watched the whole family’s shocked and joyful reactions, along with their endless words of praise for Sienna. Every single one stabbed at her like needles in her ears.

Her fingers clenched tightly under the table. But when she spoke, her face was full of concern. “Sienna, don’t push yourself too hard. Over the years, top experts from both home and abroad-traditional medicine and modern medicine-have all examined him.

“Even Edgar from the Traditional Medicine Association, along with the best foreign neurosurgeons, held three joint consultations, and they were all helpless.”

She deliberately stressed the words top experts, her voice soft with worry. “Are you really that confident? Don’t give Grandpa false hope-

Her words poured cold water on the table. Every line suggested that Sienna was being reckless, that her skills couldn’t possibly measure up, and that her treatment would only drag Rolf from hope to despair.

Sienna shot Amanda a cold look, her clear eyes unreadable. “Do you really want Grandpa’s legs to be cured?”

Her tone was like an ice pick, making Amanda’s face stiffen. She stammered, “Of course I do.” Then she felt her cheeks burn.
