Rolf’s face was pale, twisted in pain, but his eyes burned bright. In those pain-filled pupils, a kind of crazed joy flickered. His hands clutched the armrests of the wheelchair as he felt a sensation he hadn’t experienced in years-pain in his legs. His voice turned hoarse with excitement. “The pain feels so good. So good. Sienna, it’s fine, I can take it.”

“Pain means the nerves and meridians aren’t completely severed. That’s better than expected.” Sienna withdrew her hand from his leg.

The sharp pain gradually faded. Rolf collapsed back into his wheelchair, his trembling hands slowly loosening as he gasped for air.

His face lit up with the wild joy of someone who had just survived disaster. His eyes stayed glued to his legs.

The same legs that countless experts had declared hopeless now twitched faintly where Sienna had pressed. The movement was weak, barely there-but it was real.

Rolf burst into wild laughter, his chest shaking, his eyes reddening with emotion.

He looked at Sienna while laughing, his gaze shining with light, full of hope. “Sienna, can they really recover?”

“Yes.” Sienna’s calm face softened into a faint smile at her family’s excitement, her stunning features carrying an almost spellbinding charm.

“As long as you can endure the early pain and stick with treatment, combined with acupuncture and medicinal baths, in about half a month, you should be able to try standing with support.” Her lips curved slightly, her tone calm but firm.

“Half a month? Stand up?” The shock was overwhelming.

Gerard and Pansy threw their arms around Sienna, their voices choked with emotion. “Sienna, thank you! We can’t tell you how grateful we are. We’ll leave your grandpa’s legs to you.”

Sienna shook her head with a small smile. “We’re family. That’s what I should do.”

The meal ended with that huge surprise. From start to finish, everyone’s attention stayed on Sienna.

Amanda bit her lip, sourness bubbling in her chest. But after being warned by her grandpa, she didn’t dare open her mouth again.

She still refused to believe that a country girl like Sienna could cure what top doctors from around the world had failed to fix. Sienna claimed Rolf would stand in half a month. Fine. She would wait to watch Sienna make a fool of herself.

She was certain that when the truth came out-that the person they had pinned all their hopes on was nothing but a fraud- they would finally realize who truly deserved to be the Cooper family’s daughter.

“Sienna, are you full? Come, I’ll show you your room.” The more Pansy looked at her precious daughter, the more she adored her.

She pulled Sienna upstairs, and her voice was brimming with excitement. “I decorated your room myself. See if you like it.”

Pansy led her to a bright room. The white door had carved flower designs. When it opened, what appeared was a huge bedroom with soft lighting.

The color scheme made Sienna pause. The entire room was pink and white-lace everywhere, a bed draped with pink curtains, and stuffed toys filling the space.
