From a Wrong Turn to Mr. Right novel Chapter 267

Ethan Carter stood behind her at the bathroom sink, his hands gently guiding Olivia Bennett to stand in front of the mirror.

He squeezed toothpaste onto her toothbrush, and for a moment, it looked like he was about to brush her teeth himself. Olivia quickly snatched the toothbrush from his hand.

“I can handle this part myself,” she said, shooting him a look, like she half-expected him to try and take it back.

Ethan just grinned, leaning against the counter. “Go for it.”

Only when she was sure he’d back off did Olivia start brushing her teeth, watching him in the reflection with a wary eye.

When she finished and splashed water on her face, Ethan was already there, grabbing a fluffy towel to pat her face dry. He wiped off the last drops and pulled the towel away, revealing her fresh, rosy cheeks and sparkling eyes. Her lashes fluttered, and he felt his heart skip a beat. He couldn’t help but lean in and steal a quick kiss.

“My lady, how’s the service this morning?” he teased, lips still curved in a smile.

Olivia rolled her eyes. “Service? This is just you looking for an excuse to be handsy.”

“So, not satisfied?” Ethan gave a dramatic sigh. “Guess I’ll have to try harder.”

She groaned. “No, no, totally satisfied. A-plus service.” She started pushing him out of the bathroom, still laughing. “You don’t need to go above and beyond, really. Go, shoo!”

He raised an eyebrow. “You sure?”

“Absolutely. Cross my heart, hope to die. Now out!” Olivia gave him a little shove for good measure.

Ethan chuckled, letting her push him out, his dark eyes still dancing with amusement as the bathroom door clicked shut. Olivia let out a long breath before finishing up her morning routine.

When she finally stepped back into the bedroom, Ethan looked up from where he was sitting, a smirk still playing on his lips.

“You should go get ready,” Olivia said, feeling her cheeks warm under his gaze. She took a seat at the vanity.

Damian Franklin, ever the thoughtful host, had left a full array of toiletries and creams on the dresser.

Olivia grabbed a moisturizer and started applying it, only to find Ethan right behind her.

“Let me brush your hair,” he offered, already picking up the hairbrush.
