From a Wrong Turn to Mr. Right novel Chapter 338

Carey kept nursing for quite a while before finally stopping.

She closed her eyes, then ran her tongue across her lips in the cutest way.

Olivia Bennett’s heart just melted. She glanced at Ethan Carter, her voice bubbling with excitement, “Look at her! Isn’t she adorable?”

She was totally wrapped up in Carey, and Ethan just gave her that helpless, soft look he always did when he was indulging her. He nodded, “Yeah, she’s really cute.”

Olivia couldn’t help but smile wider, gently brushing Carey’s cheek, feeling so content she thought she might burst.

Once Carey was finished, Ethan pulled back the hospital curtain.

Adelina Lane headed out to call Damian Franklin and the other two.

Carey, now full and sleepy, just drifted off. Nobody wanted to disturb her. Everyone just stood close by, watching her with quiet affection.

Damian reached into his bag and pulled out a silver baby locket, handing it to Olivia. “This is for Carey. Looks exactly like the one your mom gave you when you were born. Only thing missing is her name engraved on it.”

Olivia took it, realizing it really was a perfect match to hers from all those years ago.

She glanced at Carey and smiled. “I’ll thank Grandma and Grandpa for Carey.”

Damian smiled back, his eyes soft.

Since Olivia had just given birth, everyone was on the same page—they wanted her to get some rest. After a little while, they all said their goodbyes and slipped out quietly.

Only Ethan and Adelina stayed behind to keep her company.

The next day, Damian and the others dropped by for a quick visit, but soon enough, Naomi Barton and Carlson Baker also arrived.

Naomi cradled Carey, absolutely smitten, while Carlson kept a sharp eye out—when Naomi started steering the conversation someplace familiar, he quickly claimed they shouldn’t tire Olivia and hustled her out.

By late afternoon, after Olivia had eaten dinner, the room fell quiet again.

She was chatting with Ethan and Adelina, baby in her arms, when someone knocked at the door.

Adelina answered it.

Standing there was Nannie Bruce, who’d never met Adelina before. She hesitated just a second, then guessed, “You must be Susan, right? I’m here to see Olivia.”
