Raven’s POV

I stood frozen in ing spot as I stared at him. He wore a white body, bugging shirt that showed off every sculpted inch of his chest and any, and black pants that fit him too well.

Damn, was he handsome. His dark hair was neatly brushed back, his jaw freshly shaved, and his entire appearance screamed confidence and polar.

But no matter how breathtaking he looked, he could never be compared to Alpha Ethan, not in my heart. No matter how much pain Alpha Ethan had caused me, some part of me was still chained to him.

“Mind if I come in?” he said, snapping me nut.of my thoughts.

“A gift basket,” he said. “And your favorite favor… chocolate vanilla valdi,” he added, handing the small jar of ice cream.

I couldn’t speak. My lips parted, but nothing came out. My thoughts were spinning. My heart was racing.

I swallowed hard. I wanted to say something, but the words were stuck in my throat, Part of me wanted to tell him the truth.
