Chapter 170

Chapter 170

Alpha Ethan’s POV

I stared at the computer screen in horror, my fists clenched so tightly that my knuckles turned white. No… this can’t be real.

This can’t be happening.

My throat felt dry as if every drop of moisture had been sucked out of me. My heart pounded against my chest so hard it felt like it would break my ribs.Raven She was behind this.

“No,” I muttered under my breath, shaking my head like a madman refusing to believe reality. “No… she wouldn’t dare.

Not her.” But the footage looping before my eyes told a different story. There she was-the one person I never thought would betray me-shipping into my private study like a thief. Every move she made was calculated, precise… like she had done this before.

And then I saw it.

The footage from the club… disappointment burned hotter than fire.

She had drugged me. She drugged me in my own home like I was some fool she could play with. All for what? To destroy my designs? To ruin months of work that was supposed to secure the future of my company?

I slammed my fist into the edge of the desk so hard that the keyboard flew across the room. “Damn it!” I roared, my voice echoing through the empty security office.

The guards outside stiffened, but none of them dared to move or breathe too loudly. They knew better than to interrupt me when I was

My mind was a storm, a violent, unrelenting hurricane. Rage clawed at every part of me, shredding what little restraint I had left. She didn’t just steal from me. She didn’t just betray me. She humiliated me. And after everything… after everything I did for her, this is how she repays me?

I shoved the chair backward so hard it toppled over, crashing to the floor with a loud bang.

My hands were trembling as I stormed out of the room, my steps heavy and full of purpose. Guards pressed themselves against the walls to avoid me, eyes lowered, afraid of the wrath radiating off me like wildfire.

Every step I took toward her room felt like crossing into a darker part of myself.

The part I tried to bury. The part that thirsted for control… for dominance. My wolf snarled inside me, clawing at my insides, demanding blood, demanding justice.

She thinks she can play me? She thinks she can destroy everything I built and walk away? No. Not this time. Not ever.

By the time I reached her door, my pulse was pounding so loud it drowned out every other sound. I didn’t knock. I didn’t pause. I kicked the door open with such force that it slammed against the wall, the noise echoing through the entire floor.

And there she was, Raven Sitting on the bed like nothing happened, a damn book in her hands, her legs folded neatly beneath her as if the world outside her little bubble didn’t exist. As if my rage didn’t exist.

She didn’t even flinch. Didn’t look up. I just kept reading, like I was nothing more than a breeze blowing through an open window.

That… that pushed me over the edge.

I strode into the room, my boots hitting the floor with a deadly rhythm, and stopped right in front of her bed. “What the hell did I do to you, Reven?! barked, my voice cracking like a whip in the silence. “Tell me! What did I do to deserve this? Why did you destroy my design? Why?!”

Nothing.

Chapter 170

Not even a flicker of guilt. Her eyes stayed glued to that damn book like I didn’t exist.

The nerve. The audacity.

1 growled deep in my throat and climbed onto the bed, snatching the book from her hands and throwing it across the room. It hit the wall wa pages scattering everywhere like broken glass. “Now tell Thissed, grabbing her wrist and yanking her closer. “Why did you do it? Why did jei betray me like this?”

Her eyes finally met mine. Cold. Defiant. And then… she smiled.

“You think you’ve suffered?” Her voice was low but sharp enough to cut through steel. “You think this is pain?” She chuckled bitterly, shaking her head “If killing your sister wasn’t enough, then yes-I would ruin your company. I would ruin you. If I had the chance to do it all over again, wouldn’t hesitate.

Not for a second.”

My entire body stilled. Her words were venom, dripping from her lips with such calm cruelty that it stole my breath.

“You…” My jaw clenched so hard it hurt. “You’d do it again?”

She didn’t even blink. “Over and over again. Without an ounce of remorse.”

My blood boiled, fury consuming every fiber of my being. “You…” I choked out, my voice trembling with rage. “You’re unbelievable. You call me selfish? Look at you. Acting like a saint when you’re nothing but a damn snake.”

She laughed-a hollow, broken laugh that scraped against my soul. “Selfish?” Her eyes glinted with unshed tears, but her smile never faded. “I haven’t even done one percent of what you did to me, Ethan. One percent. And you’re like this?”

Her words hit me like a bullet, but my pride refused to let them sink in.

My vision blurred with red. In a swift, uncontrollable motion, I grabbed her by the throat, lifting her slightly off the bed. Her breath hitch eyes… God, her eyes didn’t show fear. Only defiance.

“You should thank the stars you’re my mate,” I snarled, my voice dark and dangerous. “If not–”

“Then do it,” she spat, cutting me off, her voice rough against my grip.

“Do your worst, Ethan. I’m not afraid of you. If this is punishment, then go ahead. But don’t you dare act like some almighty god when all you are is a

beast.

A selfish, pathetic beast-”

Her words sliced through me, but I didn’t let her finish. My rage/snapped the last thread of control holding me back. With a guttural growl, ! threw her back onto the bed, the mattress creaking under the force.
