Jade was in her room, tweaking a melody, following Josefina's advice. Humming along with the notes, her fingers danced across the keyboard. Then, she suddenly froze.
Alex, puzzled by the abrupt silence, looked over with curiosity. “Jade, what’s going on? Why’d you stop?”
Jade burst into a fit of giggles, her excitement bubbling over. “Bro, Josie's advice was amazing! I reworked the tune with her suggestions, and it's like a whole new song!”
“So, this is all thanks to Josie?” Alex asked, surprised. “I thought she was going to ask a friend for help.”
Jade chuckled at her brother’s naivety. “Oh, Alex. When people say 'asking for a friend,' they’re usually talking about themselves. I’m pretty sure Josie’s the genius behind it all!”
Alex was lost in thought, realizing how he might have missed the signs.
“Think about it,” Jade continued. “Josie gave me feedback so quickly. If she had to call a friend, what if they didn’t answer? Or were too busy? Nope, it’s got to be Josie.”
As the realization dawned on Alex, he too began to suspect that Josefina was the mystery advisor.
“Even if it’s probably her, I’m not going to pry. If Josie wanted us to know, she’d tell us. Let’s keep it to ourselves, okay? She wouldn’t want us blowing her cover,” Jade warned, and Alex nodded in agreement.
Jade went back to her room, her heart set on mastering her craft, determined not to let Josefina down.

The next morning, Garrett was up at the crack of dawn, eager to clear the air with Josefina and apologize. To his dismay, Annika informed him that Josefina had already left the house at 5:30 AM.
“She left at 5:30? That early? Did she get any breakfast?” Garrett asked.
“Ms. Josefina said she had too much to do and didn’t have time for breakfast at home. She’d just grab something on the go,” Annika replied.
Garrett felt a pang of guilt.
