Just as Josefina was about to unwind for the evening, her phone buzzed with an incoming call from Calix.
Calix's voice was bubbling with cheerfulness, "Sis, did I wake you up? Sorry about that."
Josefina chuckled, "Nope, still awake. What's up, Calix?"
"Well, it's nothing major, but... you know how I wore that outfit you helped me pick out for the awards show, right? Someone asked about it, and I told them my sister designed it. Do you think they'll dig around and find out it was actually Anya who designed it? I don't want you to get in trouble because of me."
Josefina thought it was something serious but was relieved it was just this.
"No worries, you don't need to explain anything. I won't respond on my end, and they won't get anything on me."
Calix breathed a sigh of relief, "Sis, it's my fault. I just blurted it out in the moment because I was so proud to say my sister helped me with the design. I guess I was too excited."
Calix's proud moment had all his fans speculating whether he was in love.
"It's fine, don't sweat it," Josefina consoled warmly.
With a grin, Calix said, "Sis, I've seen some really cool souvenirs while filming on location. I'll bring some back for you to check out."
"Thanks, Calix."
"Don't mention it, sis. I'll let you get to sleep now. Rest up and goodnight."
After hanging up, a delighted Calix told his agent, "Just tell everyone my sister designed the clothes."
The agent was puzzled, "Rui, can your sister even design clothes? Didn't you say she was a med student?"
Calix retorted with a grin, "Who said I only have one sister?"
The agent was dumbfounded.
