The group had grown so used to Josefina's jaw-dropping looks that they were constantly speculating about what kind of guy could possibly be a match for their leader.
Josefina fired up her laptop, launched the software, and deftly controlled the robotic dog. The room buzzed with animated discussion.
...
Two hours later, the seven teammates stared at Josefina in awe before erupting into thunderous applause.
"Boss, you're a rockstar!"
"Boss, you're incredible!"
"Boss, you're my hero!"
"Boss, we're totally gonna crush it at next month's tech competition!"
Albert, barely able to contain his excitement, burst out, "That final move is gonna blow everyone's minds!"
Josefina breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I'll leave the fine-tuning to you guys. Reach out if you hit any snags."
"Don't worry, boss, we've got this!"
Josefina shut down her laptop and slipped it into her bag. "I'm heading out. You all should wrap up soon, too."
"Boss, we're gonna stick around a bit longer tonight to do some more tweaking."
"Cool, I'm out then." Josefina stood up, and Albert walked her to the door.
Albert was practically buzzing with excitement. "Boss, no wonder you're the best."
Josefina laughed, "Stop it, you're gonna make me blush."
"Boss, I'm not just flattering you, it's the truth."
"Albert, that's enough. You don't need to walk me any further. Get back up there."
"Sure thing, boss. Be safe on your way home."
