Chapter 171 Billionaire Joy
Hanson didn’t hear a word anyone said, still counting with full concentration.
Everyone at the table burst into laughter.
Becky handed the other envelope to Aaron.
Aaron accepted it politely. “Thank you. Happy New Year!”
Becky smiled and patted his head. “Happy New Year!”
Aaron’s cheeks turned red.
ron’s
He wasn’t used to being patted on the head like that, but he didn’t dislike it when his aunt
it did it.

After that, Aaron received New Year envelopes from every relative at the table. He thanked each of them with a calm “Happy New Year”
Even after receiving the money, he didn’t seem overly happy–his expression stayed neutral.
Everyone was used to him being like that.
After Becky sat back down, she heard her phone chiming over and over.
She opened it to find that her parents and older brothers had transferred her money–so had her sister–in–law.
Each transfer was labeled: “New Year money.”
And the amounts were huge–her parents each transferred fifty million, and her brothers and sister–in–law all sent twenty million each.
She looked up at them in shock.
Janus smiled. “The envelopes wouldn’t fit it all, so I just transferred it. Take it.”
Julia added, “That’s Mommy’s New Year gift for you. And I’ve prepared a few other things for later.”
Becky was speechless with surprise.
So this is what happiness feels like when you’re rich?
Even New Year money starts at tens of millions?
She glanced at Hanson, still counting money.
Maybe not. Maybe it was just because she’d been away from home for so many years, and now that she was finally back, they were all spoiling her.
Logan urged her, “Becky, just take it already.”
Winston chimed in, “Hurry up, take it.”
Becky hesitated for a moment, then quietly returned the money,
When everyone saw the transfers returned, they panicked
Lily, why’d you send it back?”
“It’s nothing, just a litle money. You’ll have to get used to it.”
Seeing her brothers all tapping away on their phones–clearly about to resend–Becky stopped them.

Chapter 171 Billionaire Joy
“Ch. Don’t send it on Whatsapp again. The withdrawal fees are crazy, and it hurts my soul. I’ll give you my bank account number Just transfer it there
Everyone,
Becky scratched her head. “Is that okay?”
They finally snapped out of it and all nodded.
Wayne said, “Of course. We didn’t think it through–we should’ve used your bank account.”
“Yeah, sis, send us your account number.”“
Becky sent them her bank details.
Two minutes later, she got a notification from her bank app.
She opened it to find her balance had gone up by 200 million.
She was officially a billionaire now.
She stared at her phone, grinning like a fool
Everyone glanced at Becky, then looked at Hanson, who was still struggling to count his money.
They suddenly realized–those two were exactly the same.
Wayne stroked his chin. He finally figured out who Hanson took after
They’d discovered Becky had no alcohol tolerance but loved to drink.
Lyle, worried she might completely pass out, quietly hid the wine.
Becky looked all around but couldn’t find the decanter.
Then she turned her eyes toward the bottle of white liquor next to Janus
It was Whiskey
Thousands of dollars per bottle–she’d never had it before.
She licked her lips.
But before she could even ask, Lyle had already snatched the bottle away.
He handed it off to a servant, who took it down to the wine cellar.
Becky looked on longingly but didn’t know how to ask for it.
Lyle caught the look on her face and couldn’t help but smirk.
The New Year’s Eve banquet lasted until nine o’clock.
Janus and Julia were traditional–they wanted to stay up for the night.
Wayne and Oriel took their two sons back to their villa.
Once they got home, Oriel pulled out two envelopes and handed one to each boy.
Hanson saw his mom had given him an envelope, but his dad hadn’t yet. He turned to look at Wayne
Wayne gave him a look. “What?”
Hanson gathered his courage. “Dad, you haven’t given me money yet.”
Wayne said. “You embarrassed us like that and you still want money from me? Have you no shame!”
Chapter 171 Billionaire Joy
Hanson pouted. “I’m not embarrassing“”
Wayne ignored him and handed an envelope to Aaron.
Aaron accepted at. Thank you. Dad. Happy New Year!”
Hanson pouted even harder, clearly upset,
“Hmph! Dad’s the worst! Dad doesn’t love me!”
Wayne replied, “Who loves you? That’s gross!”
“I’m so hurt!” Hanson huffed and stormed off to his room, flopping onto his bed to sulk.
Two minutes later, Aaron came in and walked over to him, poking him twice.
Hanson mumbled, “Leave me alone. I’m mad”
Aaron said, “Don’t be mad. You can have all mine.”
Hanson shot upright. “Really?”
“Yeah. They’re all yours.”
Aaron handed over all the envelopes he’d gotten that night.
Hanson didn’t hesitate for a second and took them, laughing gleefully
“You’re the best!”
Aaron asked, “You’re not mad anymore?”
“Nope. Not mad at all.”
Hanson hugged the envelopes and started counting again.
Aaron could only shake his head.
