Chapter 192 Caught Red–Handed
Sharon pulled Becky down onto the couch, throwing an arm around her shoulder like besties sharing secrets.
“Let’s be real–you can’t just hop on a three–hour flight every time you want to get laid.”
Becky still wasn’t used to discussing these things so openly.
“We’ll see.”
Sharon grinned. “If you ask me, just find someone new in Circovia.”
Xavier received a message from Becky the night before:
“When are you coming back?”
If he hadn’t been tied up finishing business, he would’ve flown back immediately.
The fact that she took the initiative to text him–asking when he was returning–was already a huge hint.

He took care of the remaining tasks today, left the final bits to Kevin, and caught the earliest flight back.
He rushed home, only to walk through the door and hear Sharon casually suggesting Becky find another man in Circovia.
Becky looked up–her eyes met a pair of sharp, icy phoenix eyes standing in the doorway. She froze, then panicked.
She started furiously blinking at Sharon.
Sharon, oblivious, frowned. “What’s with your eyes? Got sand in them?”
Becky glanced behind her.
“What is it?”
Sharon turned around–and saw Xavier standing stiffly at the entrance, radiating icy disapproval.
Her jaw dropped.
Oh no.
What had she just said?
Even if Becky and Xavier were just sleeping together, Xavier gave off possessive vibes from head to toe.
She’d just told Becky to find someone else.
He probably wanted to kill her right now.
Yeah, based on that look, definitely.
Becky stood up to break the tension. “You’re back.”
Xavier walked over, giving Sharon a cold glare.
She grabbed her bag and bolted.
Becky cursed her silently.
Useless friend. Dropped her right in it and ran.
“You want to find someone else?”
Xavier’s voice cut through the room like a blade.
Becky felt a strange flicker of panic.

“Sharon was talking nonsense.”
Xavier suddenly closed the distance, one hand wrapping around her waist.
“And you? Are you thinking about it?”
Becky shook her head immediately. “No.”
And she meant it.
Xavier’s expression eased slightly.
His gaze dropped to her soft, rosy lips–plump and glistening. His Adam’s apple bobbed with a swallow.
Becky looked up, just in time for his shadow to fall over her–his lips touched down, cool and firm.
She stiffened.
Xavier leaned in closer, deepening the kiss, pulling her tightly into his arms.
In the kitchen, the housekeeper emerged with dishes, only to freeze mid–step at the sight, and quickly backed away.
Becky had no experience kissing.
But to be fair, Xavier wasn’t exactly a pro either–he pressed too hard, made her lips sting.
Several minutes later, he reluctantly let go.
Becky stood there, red–faced and fidgeting, unsure what to say or do.
Her flustered reaction made Xavier chuckle.
The housekeeper peeked again, and seeing they were no longer lip–locked, stepped out and called them for dinner.
Xavier took Becky’s hand and led her to the dining room.

His palm was dry and warm–hers, soft and slightly damp. The contrast made Xavier want to rub her hand gently in his own.
At the table, Becky sat quietly, face flushed as she ate.
Whatever Xavier put on her plate, she ate it–without speaking, without meeting his eyes.
He smirked.
Such a stubborn little thing, yet so shy when teased. She was clearly still inexperienced.
One kiss and she turned bright red–yet she’d had the nerve to say they were just sleeping together.
If he waited for her to make the first move, who knew how long that would take?
After dinner, Xavier sat on the couch replying to messages. Becky went upstairs to shower.
Abigail came downstairs holding James.
As soon as James spotted Xavier, he wriggled wildly, desperate to get down.
Abigail had no choice but to let him go.
James crawled at full speed toward Xavier, his little butt bouncing as he giggled and babbled.
Abagail couldn’t help but laugh.
Jaines grabbed Xavier’s leg and started smacking it with his tiny hands
“Aldi! Ya ya ya!”

Xavier put down his phone and looked down at the tiny creature.
James, thrilled by the attention, let out another excited shriek.
Xavier picked him up and set him on his lap. The two stared at each other–big eyes meeting small ones.

Of course, James wasn’t the type to just stare. He immediately lunged forward, grabbing Xavier’s face with both hands and squealing nonsense.
Looking at the miniature version of himself, Xavier felt his heart soften.
This little guy–he was his and Becky’s child.
Becky thought Xavier had already left.
But when she reached the stairs and looked down, she saw him on the couch making James laugh hysterically.
She pressed her lips together and walked downstairs, clapping softly.
“James, come on. Time for bed.”
James still wanted to play.
Xavier handed him off–your turn.
Becky gave Xavier a quick glance, then carried James upstairs.
James had too much energy and took forever to settle down.
By the time Becky returned to her room, she jumped in surprise.
“You’re still here?”
Xavier had taken a shower and was lying on her bed, wearing her bath towel loosely wrapped around his waist.
His toned eight–pack abs were on full display.
He reclined against the pillows, his V–line faintly visible, phoenix eyes gleaming with mischief.
