Well, he couldn’t blame himself for playing a little dirty.
Kenney barely batted an eye—he was used to this sort of thing by now. He just nodded and got back to work.
Then Tyrone’s phone buzzed. It was Clayton.
“Natalia made a move against Shaw’s mistress and illegitimate son,” Clayton reported. “The kid was in a bad car accident—still in a coma, probably won’t wake up. I made sure word got out that Natalia was behind it. Now Shaw and his daughter are at each other’s throats. Looks like there’ll be a shakeup at Lynch Corporation soon. You and Easton should be ready to close the net.”
Clayton’s voice was laced with satisfaction. The time to take down Shaw and Natalia was almost here.
They’d deliberately set the father and daughter against each other. Now it was just a matter of reeling them in.
“Have to hand it to Easton—he’s got a real knack for scheming,” Clayton joked. “Guess it runs in the Lynch family. A whole den of clever foxes.”
Tyrone arched an eyebrow. Natalia and Shaw had clearly picked the wrong target.
They’d thought Easton was just some naive kid from a fishing village, easy to bully and manipulate. But the Lynch family didn’t raise weaklings.
This whole showdown was lost by Natalia and Shaw the moment they underestimated their opponent.
“The only reason they let their guard down and got played so easily is that they’re convinced you’re dead,” Clayton continued. “Shaw even went to the morgue just to confirm the body. You put on a convincing act. Like I said, you’re all foxes—no wonder it’s such a mess.”
“I’ll warn Easton,” Tyrone said, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “What about your end?”
“Natalia didn’t just go after Shaw’s son—she also targeted Jade. That woman’s clever and vicious, but she’s still outmatched by Natalia.”
Natalia was even deadlier than she looked.
