Shattered Then Healed By His Love (by Haley Blanton) novel Chapter 146

Chapter 146 Look Who Went Viral

Natalie worked nonstop until three in the morning before finally setting her tools aside; the vase had been restored to perfection, with hardly a trace of damage left behind.

A faint sense of accomplishment stirred in her chest.

By the time she finished editing the video and posted it, it was already 4 AM. Only then did she finally allow herself to rest.

The next morning, Natalie was jolted awake by the buzz of her phone. She reached for it groggily, only to realize the notifications weren’t from WhatsApp or text messages but from her social media app–likes were flooding in at a dizzying pace, climbing by the second.

When she opened the app and saw her follower count, she froze for a moment.

The video she had posted the night before had gained her thirty thousand new followers–and it was only morning.

Natalie’s lips curved ever so slightly.

It seemed she’d chosen the right path with this self–media venture.

Once her follower count grew, she’d never have to worry about finding clients again.

Later that morning, at Anderson Corp, Marcus was just stepping out of the conference room when he ran into James.

“Mr. Collins,” James said, “Harley opened a self–media account. I came across one of her short videos this morning. She’s been working on restoring a large antique vase recently. Would you like to take a look?

The man gave a slight nod, and James immediately handed him his phone.

Eight videos had been posted in total, almost one every day, documenting the progress of the vase’s restoration. Each video had already surpassed two hundred thousand likes.

Her face never appeared in the footage–only her fingertips, her tools, and the careful restoration work–but it was clear from the delicate hands that the restorer was a woman.

Marcus‘ brows drew together. “So when she said she didn’t have time, it was because she was busy restoring an antique vase for someone else?”

James, standing nearby, hesitated, unsure how to respond; in the end, he said nothing.

Marcus handed the phone back. “Get in touch with her immediately. Send my necklace over.”

James gave a sharp nod. “Understood.”

Once Marcus walked away, James quickly opened his messages and drafted a text to Harley.

Meanwhile, Natalie was in the middle of treating a patient when her phone, lying to the side, lit up with a message alert.

So it’s come to this. There was no avoiding it. But if, after the transaction, they traced the payment account back to her, her identity would be exposed.
