“The timing could have been better, but Braden and Jaden can handle the pack for a few days. I know my parents will be over the moon to know that they are going to be grandparents. Well, Dad already is, but this will be mom’s first biological grandchild,” Christian says.

“I expect to hear from you when my niece or nephew is born. I want a video call so I can see them,” I say as we pull into the train station.

“We absolutely will,” Enya says as we park and get out of the car.

Christian helps me with my bags as we make our way to where the train pulls into the station. Just like when we dropped Enya off, there are several Alphas waiting to board the train.

I nod at them, acknowledging them as we wait. When the train pulls in, Alpha Dane steps off the train, just like he did before to greet everyone.

“In case you’re wondering who you need to beat on the leaderboard,” Dane says loudly, getting everyone’s attention. Christian begins shaking his head.

“Number one on the leaderboard is right here, my nephew, Christian Webb. And number five on the leaderboard is his mate, Enya Webb.”

“That was so unnecessary, Alpha,” Enya says, walking up to hug him.

“What? You’re family. I’m allowed to brag on family. And you’re through the Academy now, so it‘ s just Dane.”

“Hey, Enya!”

“Hi Harper. I’m going to call you later,” she says.

Harper narrows her eyes at my sister and skips down the steps of the train, pulling my sister aside.

As Dane begins introducing himself, the other instructors begin exiting the train.

“Ryan? What the fuck are you doing here?” Christian asks him.

“Surprise brother. I’m an instructor this semester.

The two men hug, and I realize that Sebastiana is going to hate this semester. Her half–brother and her uncle are both instructors. Both of them know her very well.

I hear Harper squeal, and I realize that Enya must have told her about the baby.

“Not a word to Mom and Dad that you heard before they did!” Enya says, walking back over to us.

“Hey, Ryan,” Enya says, hugging him.

“Hey, Enya. What are we not telling mom and dad that we heard before they did?” he asks.

“They’re going to kill us,” Enya says to Christian.

Christian pulls her into a hug, smiling proudly at Ryan.

Ryan looks between them, grinning. “Congratulations!”

“What are we congratulating? Ohhh, a bun in the oven? I can’t WAIT to tell Christina I heard before she did,” Dane says grinning.

“Dane Kneeland, you will absolutely NOT say a word about it to your sister,” Harper scolds.

“Spoilsport. How long do I have to be quiet?” he asks.

“We’re heading to Raif’s pack now to tell them. They’ll know before the train stops there tomorrow,” Christian says.

“Excellent. Congratulations again. We’ve got to get going. Everyone board up!” he shouts, and I turn to say goodbye to Christian and Enya.
