Chapter 151 Never Let Anyone See Through You
“Hmph, Amelia is doing this on purpose. She just wants to start a fight with our family.”

“Forget her. Let’s just follow our plan. If she’s not scared of embarrassing herself, then that’s her problem, not ours.”
Maxwell agreed, adding his support.
She knew her movie wouldn’t stand a chance if it came out at the same time as the Nygard Group’s movie.
She was probably just trying to steal some of their spotlight. What a copycat. When people start comparing, she’ll only end up embarrassing herself.
Marcelo had the same thought.
Amelia was still their sister, after all. If she wanted to steal a little bit of their spotlight, he’d let her do it for the sake of family.
The two brothers, along with Gianna, were full of confidence. They believed they would come out on top.
“Alright, I understand. I just hope Amelia’s movie isn’t too terrible. But I’ve made up my mind. If it really fails, I’ll find a way to cheer her up.”
Gianna kept pretending to be her usual sweet, gentle, and caring self.
“Gianna, you’re just too kind. If Amelia could see how good you are and cared more about our family, things wouldn’t have turned out like this.”
Marcelo looked at Gianna and thought again about how nice and thoughtful she was.
He remembered what Amelia had said not long ago—claiming that Gianna was trying to break him and Isabel apart so he would stay single forever.
What nonsense!
Gianna was far too kind ever to do something like that.
That woman, Amelia, was just cruel!
Honestly, everyone in the Nygards was kind, honest, and cared deeply about each other.
So how did they end up with someone like Amelia?

If she didn’t look so much like them–having all the best features from their parents–Marcelo might’ve suspected the hospital mixed up the babies when she was born.
In the end, Marcelo blamed everything on the time Amelia got kidnapped during that party and ended up living in the mountains with the wrong people.
He thought she needed a hard lesson. Only after she lost everything would her stubbornness finally break.
Then she’d come back to him, begging for help.
As he thought about it, Marcelo’s eyes–deep and full of calculation–flashed with a cold and heartless look.
“Gianna, your birthday party is next week. You’ve been busy filming lately, so make sure you relax and spend time with your friends that day.”
“Yeah, I will. Thanks for thinking about me, Marcelo,” Gianna said sweetly.
Marcelo added, “I’ll ask Isabel to come too. You should hang out with her more. She’s going to be your sister–in–law soon.”
Marcelo said this on purpose, watching Gianna carefully to see how she’d react.
“That’s great! I’ve always liked Isabel. She’s such a good dancer. Maybe she can teach me a few
moves.”
Gianna looked truly cheerful, her bright eyes filled with excitement and interest.
Her mother had taught her well. No matter how much you dislike someone or something, never let it show.
Never let anyone see through you.
So even Marcelo, who usually noticed everything, couldn’t see anything strange in her face, and he completely believed her.
“No problem. Your future sister–in–law is the main dancer in her group. She’ll surely give you a hand.”
Ha, so Amelia really was trying to stir things up between Gianna and me. That’s why she said those ridiculous things.
Just look at Gianna. She clearly liked Isabel a lot. There was no way she was as sneaky as Amelia said.
Marcelo was already planning to help Gianna by making sure her movie came out a few days before Amelia’s.
