Gianna spoke about her dirty little scheme as if it were something noble and selfless.
Surprisingly, Diana actually agreed. She even thought Gianna was helping Amelia and that Amelia was the one benefiting from it.
“Well then,” Diana said smoothly, “I’ll count on you to handle the details.”
As a high–class socialite, Diana rarely got her hands dirty with things that could ruin her reputation. She always found someone else to do it for her.
“Don’t worry,” Gianna said sweetly. “All you have to do is book a room, give this to Vincent, and make sure he drinks it. Once that’s done, I’ll figure out how to get Amelia to go there.”
After speaking, Gianna secretly passed her a small packet of white powder.
“Is this safe?” Diana asked, frowning slightly.
“Of course! It just makes a man impulsive around women. Totally harmless.” Gianna explained with a confident smile.
“All right then. I appreciate your help.” Diana squeezed Gianna’s hand with a knowing smile.
Gianna smiled politely, pretending to be apologetic. “Oh, it’s nothing. Last time, I acted foolishly and almost ruined your face. I still feel so guilty about that. I’ll make sure everything goes perfectly this time.”
She spoke with the perfect mix of guilt and sincerity, using the chance to clear her name again. Gianna was making it sound like the last incident had been a misunderstanding, not an intentional setup.
Diana played along just as smoothly. “Don’t worry about it. I’ve already let it go. Just make sure this plan works.”
Her face had healed anyway.
As long as Gianna handled this matter, Amelia’s company shares would eventually fall into her family’s hands.
There was no reason for her to hold a grudge.
After Diana left, Gianna’s lips curled into a faint, cold smile.
She knew exactly what Diana was doing. That woman was using her to get what she wanted. But Gianna was no fool. She was using Diana just the same.

Her eyes glinted with cunning as she began to plan her countermove.
This witch wanted to use me to help tie Amelia and Vincent together?
Not a chance.
There was no way I’d let that bitch win Vincent back, move into the house again, and get the whole family
to love her.
Not in this lifetime.
Gianna’s true goal was nothing like what Diana imagined.
She wasn’t going to push Vincent toward Amelia. She was going to make sure she ended up with him instead.
That way, Diana would finally give up on Amelia, and Amelia would never get the chance to be with Vincent again.
Gianna’s plan was perfect–calculated down to the smallest detail. Her beautifully made–up eyes shimmered with sharp, clever light.
She pressed her red lips together, the corners slowly curling upward into a confident, victorious smile.
This time, no matter what it took, she wasn’t going to fail.
Gianna made her way to the drinks table and picked up a glass of mango juice. She planned to take it to Amelia.
But then she hesitated–what if Amelia claimed she was allergic and refused it? That would ruin everything. So, she switched it for a glass of orange juice instead.
Holding the glass carefully, she headed toward Amelia.
Truthfully, she didn’t need to go through all this. It wasn’t like she genuinely wanted to help Amelia and Vincent get back together.
But Diana was cunning and cautious. She had suffered a loss because of her before. There was a good chance she was secretly watching tonight.
And if Gianna was going to put on a show, she had to sell it completely.
Gianna put on a natural, gentle smile as she approached Amelia.
Standing in the corner, Gianna’s eyes locked onto the woman she hated most.

That slut was still glued to Jeremy’s side, laughing and talking like they are the perfect pair. The sight stung Gianna’s eyes. Her stomach twists with jealousy.
That familiar flame of jealousy blazed up in Gianna’s chest again, burning so fiercely it felt like it was twisting her insides.
