Marcelo shook his head. “Mom, the livestream is almost finished. If we switch things up now, the audience will only get angrier.”

“Oh my, what should we do? Gianna must be terrified in such an unfamiliar place, that’s why she’s messing up. And now people online are blowing it up and tearing her apart. She’s been spoiled her whole life so how could she handle something like this?”

His mother was literally pacing around in panic.

“Calm down, Mom. I already asked Melissa to manage it. Just one more day left. After that, I’ll arrange some events to help Gianna repair her reputation,” Marcelo assured her.

Truthfully, that was how Gianna had been promoted from the beginning, by throwing money at publicity, stirring up gossip, and shaping her public image.

This time, his mom finally nodded. She felt a bit calmer.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the director announced the last challenge.

“Okay, everyone! The final round of the show is … Survival on an uninhabited island! You’ll spend 24 hours there, complete missions, and locate the treasure we’ve hidden!”

Gianna immediately frowned when she heard it and muttered, “What? A deserted island? Is there a proper bathroom? Hot water?”

She tried hard to hide her reaction, but the camera still caught everything.

Patricia couldn’t help but roll her eyes and reminded her, “Gianna, it’s a survival challenge, not a holiday.”

She picked up a multi–tool knife, twirled it with ease, and flashed a confident smile at the camera. “This will be useful.”

After everyone got their kits, it was time to get on the boat.

The island was roughly 15 nautical miles from the village; it was completely wild and untouched.

As the boat neared, they could see dense forest and sharp rocky cliffs.

Amelia stood at the front, narrowing her eyes as she surveyed the terrain.

This kind of survival was nothing for her.

She’d endured far worse during those years she went missing.

Meanwhile, Gianna was gripping the railing with a pale face. “Why is this boat shaking so much? I’m going to throw up.”

The staff hurried over and gave her medicine for seasickness.
